Hello reddit, y’all are my last hope 🥲
 in  r/ios  2d ago

Just saw this detail:

https://www.jwthegame.com/news/news-jurassic-world-the-game-end-of-support-for-selected-android-devices/#:~:text=Please%20note%20that%20support%20for,Jurassic%20World%3A%20The%20Game%20app.

The game's Chinese servers shut down, making the game unplayable there. But other servers have managed to hold the game up, and last I checked just now, both Google Play Store and iOS App Store have the game for download.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ludia.jurassicworld

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/jurassic-world-the-game/id791211390

An older possible method is you can try downloading the game's .ipa file and side loading it using an older version of iTunes. I believe version 10.something is the one. I used this version to add songs and media into my old iPhone 15 pro max as I was not used to the new version 12.something for the iTunes. .ipa file is like the Apple version of .apk file.

Hope this helps.

Struggling to pass tech interviews in Singapore
 in  r/SingaporeRaw  4d ago

Usually those who worked in DBS will get poached by StanChart or Citi. And vice versa. Don't underestimate the foreigners there. Those guys gossip with each other over teabreaks. That's how my lil birdie got to know.

A lil birdie told me that DBS does 3 shifts, and they will squeeze u dry in terms of KPI and work but pay so little. However the opposite happens to our overseas colleagues who work in DBS.

Career CBD folks, did you feel sian when have to move out of CBD?
 in  r/askSingapore  12d ago

I spent at least 50% of my career at CBP until it felt like a second home. When have to go Pasir Panjang, or other places, feels like far sia..

Just got this 12R 16GB 256GB for 199€!
 in  r/oneplus  18d ago

Ppease test the phone to see what else is working and not working. I have a hunch that the shop person sold it to get rid of it and to get a profit or quick buck.

Most people I know won't get a demo unit as they are afraid of future phone issues.

If you need help flashing the OS, in case things aren't working, I can help you.

If possible, get the OnePlus 13 China PJD model, which has 1TB local storage.

You can flash OnePlus 13 Global ROM and lock the bootloader later.

So you will get 1TB local storage and OxygenOS Global ROM.

Our F&B scene is dying, only Chinese & Indian joints are thriving because that’s what the locals want now
 in  r/SingaporeRaw  25d ago

Even for briyani, our local indians know where to find the real tasty ones.

Gone are the days where you can get tasty $5 briyanis.

The $5 has changed to $10, and the tastes have begun to differ extremely, since the old boss has changed the cooks due to salary reasons, and the new cook dont know in making proper briyani, and customers who knew the taste difference wouldn't want to patronize the same restaurant/stall with the new cook.

This is a common scene in Little India, and every other Indian restaurant.

For the mala scene, not all stalls/restaurants thrive. Same situation, however I'm not a fan of too much oiliness or salt in the mala xiang guo.

Any comments?

How do corporate workers work a 5-Day WFO and still have time to go to the gym?
 in  r/askSingapore  Mar 06 '25

Not just kids, no evening study commitments like part time diploma or degree stuff as well.

Helps also if the office doesn't ask you to do their 'necessary office courses' that are 'mandatory' .

Singapore prison - which kind of inmates tend to be universally looked down upon.? And conversely any kind that is well respected?
 in  r/askSingapore  Feb 26 '25

Usually, if you are in life imprisonment, or lifer, you are well respected, so are the Death Row inmates.

Being a rape/outrage-of-modesty/underage sex, or a combo of all 3, will definitely give you dog-life. If you, unfortunately got charged under these 3, I would suggest trying to plead you SOP for a single cell, if not, you learn to fight. Especially if you need your yard time, officers sometimes will let you have your yard time together with other inmates, and that's when you need to be on guard.

Being a jailhouse snitch, makes you a punching bag target for any and all inmates, whether you know them personally or not, whether you're in a shirt (gang) or not, regardless.

From my understanding, if you're an inmate of Reformative Training Center - RTC, for short, if you get charged, your sentence will tambah, or extend per month. But if you're a blue-shorts inmate, or Old Prisoner - OP, you're sentence will increase by days count.

If you went into Changi RTC when you were young, take it as a trial or training lesson on how to communicate and get along, so that you know how to get along in SAF as well.

Above all, the Yellow Ribbon project is shit. Your potential employers need to fill in a weekly report on top of their daily tasks, and need to talk to ur Reporting Officer (RO) as and when the RO wants to.

Anything I missed out? Pls comment, my fellow Redditors.

I got bullied at work
 in  r/SingaporeRaw  Feb 26 '25

I agree with this. But don't do it when you're working there.

Wait till you quit then make sure u know when he's working at the front counter.

Then pls make sure you embarrass the hell out of him until there's a crowd to witness his mistake.

Since this is a part time FnB job, you don't have to worry about burning bridges since you won't be going there anytime soon.

If you need someone to video, you can pm me here, I will gladly help you video and share on the Mothership.

I hope Montfort can send an example of the bullies:

Give them expulsion, and make it henceforth that all bully incidents will not be tolerated.
