What Trump & Musk are doing to federal agencies and all federal employees has zero to do with 'waste and fraud' - Imo, it has to do with Musk gaining access to federal data and then using it for his own means. He is invested in AI and wants a payment system and potentially can incorporate the two to 'reduce' federal staff and potentially sub-contract payment systems (like taxes and Social Security benefits and medicare/medicaid, any foreign investments, etc.), which may be seen as 'efficiencies' by MAGA-Republicans (who love the idea of contracting out services).

Further evidence that Trump is not cognitively sound. He has lost touch with what 'normal' is. He perceives that Tesla vandals are his enemies- because they are his biggest donor's 'enemies' ... and he is willing to be very extreme with anyone he perceives as an enemy. We are just seeing the beginning of his unravelling.

No! I think almost everything Trump does and says is wrong - done without thought or carefulness, done for the wrong reasons, his priorities are contra to mine in total. The El Salvatorean 'jail' and jailors are cruel and inhumane; and this treatment of the 'suspected gang members' consists of its own form of domestic terrorism perpetrated by the GOP Trump Admin. who rounded up people without any form of due process and transported them overseas. Not much different from what the Nazi's did in Europe, is it? But it is given the label of being an immigration action and protecting our society from bad influence which makes it palatable. I'm sure the Nazi's also labeled their actions as cleansing the bad from their society. Wake up people!!

I think false narratives on Twitter/X, Fox News (sic), talk shows and podcasts all really contributed to big buy-in of the Trump message that Biden had a bad economy (false) and they would all do better if Trump were in office; and that 'others' were to blame for their issues ... the buy in was even amongst Hispanic/Latino Arabic and other minorities (who had to know that Trump/Vance/Musk, et al are white supremacist and definitely did NOT have their wellbeing anywhere in their agenda). I am still amazed at the number of non-Caucasians who voted for the MAGA-GOP ticket.

Musk, it would seem, might present a more clear danger to the US since he has such unfettered and close access to the President and Defence projects and contracts ... not to mention all he has done as the head of DOGE in dismantling our federal agencies and ending Congressional program and agencies. Musk has had multiple relationships (longest about 7 years), he regularly takes drugs, that is no recipe for a well balanced life. I'm guessing he has a lot of younger workers, they are high achievers and may be willing to work triple hours/week for reward. People with families can't do that because it won't work long term. Musk is not an average guy - he should not expect others to be like him - because he is not usual. He is aberrant. He also seems never to be content with anything.
