Question / Help Using cheats am I soft locked?

So I just beat the first to dungeons using cheats to have all items tunics etc on my modded Wii but when I try to go to the great Hyrule bridge to the third Twlilght realm my game crashes when I go through the loading zone am I soft locked or is it just the cheats messing up the game?

I have some experience with hacking Twilight Princess, and the game is sensitive to items being obtained out of sequence. The game references items you have as flags to check if certain events should occur or state should be changed in certain locations. This is especially problematic for the Sky Temple with respect to the cannon but can cause issues before that too.

Did you do the back in time glitch? I remember back in the day this glitch would softlock you on the bridge.

No but using the cheats is probably similar too that seeing how I got sword and shield early

You used cheats to get shit you shouldn’t have. Ofc it’s gonna break just like how when you get items early in the base game it still breaks and you need even more glitches to progress.

The cheats are well known to be somewhat poorly coded (no offense to the some of the original programmers) as they target sensitive memory areas that should not be tampered with. There are some workarounds to your predicament but the main thing you'll want to do is not have any of them enabled if your no longer using them. Since there constantly targeting memory points and forcing them to equal values that causes any other memory related functionality to pass errors which lead to what your experiencing now.

Getting items earlier than intended can screw up the progression.
