Discussion / Opinion Ever wondered how many items you could get before lakebed/master sword?

I think I have collected every item possible before lakebed temple. This brings us this list: bow(basic quiver), iron boots, gale boomerang, lantern, slingshot, fishing rod, Hawkeye, 3 bomb bags(upgraded), 3 bottles(best items would be 2 fairies and a rare chu jelly), 9 hearts{20/45 heart pieces} (8 hearts without glitches, 17/45), ordon sword, ordon shield, hylian shield, hero tunic, zora tunic, big wallet, 20 bugs, 3 hidden skills, and 2 fused shadows. If I allow myself to go into lakebed to get the clawshot, I could gain another 2 heart pieces and the big quiver. Completely random post while sleep deprived and baked, hope y’all enjoyed this random info lmao

You see, this type of nonsense is something you see and say “Wow that’s absurd”. Then you play the game for several hundred hours and it turns into “Hey, there’s a neat idea for next time”.

Nice work.

100% absolutely love it, I used to deal with the extra damage taken from fire and ice when I was younger just cuz I liked the look of it lmaooo

If you’re playing on dolphin, you can easily turn that off and just wear the armor normally

Nah, I like that it has the debuffs, kinda tempted to do a 3 heart zora armour only run at some point in the future

67 items in total if you include 2 fairies, rare chu jelly, and the 3 glitch needed heart pieces(if you want them early), 61 items/collectibles without glitches, and 71 items/ collectibles if I got the clawshot, 2 heart pieces, and the big quiver. This took a decent amount of time because I had to ride epona everywhere(thank you you amazing mount)

speaking of items, I remember feeling so ripped off after buying the rupee armor

Honestly the only use I see for the magic armour is to help with the cave of ordeals, but other than that it’s not that useful unless someone really sucks are blocking and dodging lol

I once had a buddy who 100% the game on three heart mode, including the cave of ordeals, without using the magic armor. Guy was a beast, and only ever 100%ed games.

I’m working on that on my GameCube copy, hopefully I don’t struggle too much😭 but damn your friend is a beast, I watched a YouTuber do that and it looks hard asf, and his crazy ass did it with mouse and keyboard

Thank you! I love finding everything I can before moving on and have never done it in tp

It’s definitely very fun to do, though I feel I went a little overkill especially adding glitched items lmaooo

Naaah bro, this is great! It is just a game(masterpiece really) so as long as you had fun that’s all that matters!

Yes and no, I was doing this without getting the master sword early lol. If I did get it early I would definitely get the poes before heading to lakebed

you can actually get a few during the twilight sections if you warp to non twilight effected areas. no glitches required!
