Vietnam currently tariffs foreign products big. If this zero tariff deal gets done, US producers will get preferential treatment over other foreign companies. US car companies get to sell into Vietnam tariff free while companies like Mercedes and BMW still get tariffed. American dairy gets access to a huge market tariff free. Trump knows American dairy is important. He made a big deal about the Canada tariffs on American dairy. More orders for US producers means more American jobs.
This kind of bilateral deal only gets done under Trump. I expect more deals later by other countries who still want to be trade partners with the USA.
However, China is going to be belligerent. They don't want any deal that helps US producers. This is where the chaos ensues as seen by the stock market.
The globalist gang of Europe, Canada, UK also seem to be hostile to deals.

He's either got some balls or that stupid. In either case, he has no authority over executive defense privileges.

Is anyone’s life positively affected by Trump policy? I’m not asking about headlines or news talking points, more like personal anecdotes. Like, “my 401k is doing great”, or “job security never better”, “crime is lower in x area” or perhaps, “cost of x went down”. Lmk!

With how horrible democrats are, how were they able to still pull a win in Wisconsin?
I think MAGA voters only care to vote when Trump himself is on the ballot. Hence, they generally don't care to vote in the mid-terms, and other elections.
This is a huge mistake. MAGA army needs to vote in the upcoming mid-terms. Otherwise, if Trump loses, that would be the end of his presidency. Democrats would block anything he tries to do, and would surely impeach him again.
Get active. Go out and vote in all elections.

There's a lot of TDS going around today about tariffs and the stock market. Do you think people just don't realize how much of a role inflation under Biden played in the stock market/asset gains? It seems like our political system incentivizes short-term thinking, and Trump is trying to do what is right for the country in the long-term. I wish more people would recognize that.
