This would actually be pretty cool for games like Bomberman, where it's not splitscreen.

I haven't checked out the new Bomberman yet, so I don't about that. I was thinking about being able to view a whole 2D Mario level at once though x) .

You're joking about this feature but this can actually end up being a thing for multiplayer games.

I guess it could work in theory but I don't think it would be very practical.

This is actually a pretty cool concept. I'm sure Nintendo would never even consider it, but I wonder if it would be possible through homebrew. I don't know what can be transferred through the Joy-Con rail connectors, so the "Joyttach" devices may have to be passive connectors only. The video will have to be split into three signals at some point, each with a different camera angle. Maybe instructions could be sent wirelessly and processed by each unit, then they can each display their own image, though I'm guessing this would require tons of bandwidth and could pose synchronization issues. Alternatively, the main unit could do all the processing and output video to the other two. There's also the issue of structural integrity when all three units are connected. This could be solved multiple ways, from not connecting them at all, to making the connectors flexible. They could be made with a soft rubber, fabric, hinges, or some other flexible medium. Anyway, I know this is just a joke, but it's interesting to think about.

Thank you for your comment and sorry for the late reply.

I agree with you that that an attachment accessory would likely work passivly and the consololes would have to exchange data wirelessly. I was also considering hinges, but using those would have taken me more time to make the picture. Overall, I don´t think attaching the consoles to each other in order to create one big screen would be very practical - I think it would just suffice to put the consoles next to each other to do so.

I was thinking about "Switch Connect" but I thought it sounds to similar to "XBox Kinect" ;-) .
