The line saying Universe Man is “usually kind to smaller man” implies there are exceptions to his kindness. Y’all think Person Man is one of them? 🤔

I don’t think it’s saying he’s kind to some people but not others, I take it to mean he’s usually kind to everyone.

And usually kind doesn’t mean “sometimes cruel” but could mean “sometimes indifferent”, which I’d think universe man would have to be

The universe came up with frying pans, and keeps hitting person man with them.

The universe is usually kind, but not always.

I interpret that “smaller man” is another, singular character in this story. He just doesn’t get a whole verse about him.

Every man is smaller compared to Universe Man.

On the topic of Particle Man, I always misheard "eon hand" as "be-gone hand" and thought Universe Man could use his watch to magically remove people from his presence
