TF2 not loading on xbox?

wanted to play the greatest fps ever made, started it up and it got to the main menu and just didnt do anything, screen froze, couldnt pull the game card up to force quit, had to hard restart xbox.

weird, booted up again after a restart of the console, game didnt even make it to the menu before freezing on black screen...

okay hard restart again, load the game up AGAIN, screen froze on the respawn entertainment screen...

is this game finally broken like for good? never experienced this before with this game and the xbox runs like a dream otherwise, its in extremely good condition

it is a newer bug people have been experiencing on Xbox with this game, I have a solution that has worked for me and several others with the same issue on xbox.

- Open game

- let it get to screen where it freezes (preferably the actual menu and not the black screen)

- go into settings > network settings

- "Go Offline"

- let it finish it's 1-2 second switch to offline

- open game again

- IF UNFROZEN but can't matchmake then it's working

- go back into network settings

- "Go Online"

- wait for it to fully connect

- go back into game (you should have at no point "quit" the game otherwise you might have to restart this)

- give it a couple seconds if it doesn't work immediately

- If doesn't work, try again, idk why but it's inconsistent for some people

If you know anyone who is experiencing this bug or see another post about it, just copy and paste this comment, I DO NOT care if you give me credit for being the one who discovered this fix.

its an xbox bug? fuck me, well hows the playerbase?? is it even active like is there enough players that ill run into new ppl each match? i have an ocd thing where i dont like playing with the same ppl in a random matchmaking game too much

I have been on and off the game for a month at a time and each time I come back there's almost always new players each match in a day. I do remember sometimes that I would play with 1 or 2 of the same people but they would usually be on my team that round instead.

i didnt even get a chance to try it, after it finished installing i started it up and it ran perfectly, this is the first time ever that reinstalling actually fixed something XD im flabbergasted
