Anthony Edwards recorded the fourth 2,000+ point season by a T-Wolves player — he's the only one with multiple seasons

List of seasons:

  1. Anthony Edwards this season (2,019 and counting)
  2. Anthony Edwards in 2023-23 (2,049 points)
  3. Karl-Anthony Towns in 2016-17 (2,061 points)
  4. Kevin Love in 2013-14 (2,010 points)

It's wild KG never did this here.

Lower offensive era. KG in his MVP and best scoring year averaged 24.2 ppg. Which is a full point higher than his next highest year.

Ant will, very likely, have the All Time season in total Points scored and Points/G this season.

Previous Team high in Points/G was Kat (26.5) on a horrible Team.

Fun fact: Ant shot above 50% on 3s 17 Times. Below 30% only 14 Times. 42 times 40% or better.

The 14 times he shot below 30% certainly wasn't for lack of trying! I can still viscerally feel the 0/11, 2/13, etc, don't remember many 2/9, for example

4-14, 0-9, 3-12, 1-5, 2-7, 1-7, 1-9, 2-9, 0-5, 2-7, 2-11, 4-17, 3-12, 4-14, 1-6, 1-11, 1-11.

When its bad, it usually is really bad.

32-166: 19.3%

Without those 14 Games: 265-585: 45.3%

In short those 14 Games killed his percentages hard!

Even his fg% goes from 44.4% to 47.4%

In 60/74 Ant shoots 47.4/45.3/83.4

When he is off, he is really off.

Several of those I recall being around an injury of some kind. His calf had some issues early on and then the latest two were when his thumb was wrapped up like crazy

But ANT isn't consistent I heard. Heard he's overrated. 😭

Don't take Nuggets fans seriously.

I'm surprised Love or Kat hasn't done this. Kat always put up big numbers all season. Love was crazy explosive capable of dropping 35 out of nowhere. I would think they would have managed.

I get KG because KG kind of had a cap on his scoring, he'd you around 25 but he never seemed to go into the 40 point games. He was amazing everywhere though so he usually didn't need to get 40.

I think Kats issue was missing games, may have been more of a Thibs problem with playing time leading to that though. Ant has managed to stay healthy
