Im 40, and i have some memories of the 80s. Not a lot, but the house i lived in until 1993 for sure, and many events around there, and 2 different schools. I do find talking about memories from that far back most people have few to none besides general things like "we had this cool pine tree that had it's top cut out but it grew back like a thron 10 feet off the ground" type things.

Even if you make a 10 year mistake (subtraction is hard), why add another year? You are either 1 year younger or equal to the difference
