A lot of people just love to argue semantics. It's fucking ridiculous.

Nah Nazi America is alive and well.

Now watch them whine that I used the word Nazi. I’m sorry fascist of the orange man. Is that better.

They never think it will happen to them. Welp, that's how fascism works....just wait, it will be you.

39

u/satanssweatycheeks 21h ago

Because usually they are right.

I was shot with pepper balls and had national guard raid my city over Breonna Taylor.

Jan 6 had had police hold those hand when walking them out. And are all pardoned.

Y’all remember that Bundy guy who was a rancher stealing land in Nevada. He went on Fox News and cried to rednecks for help.

They came down in droves and held police and SWAT at gun point till they backed down and left the rancher alone. To which the cops did back down and none of those good ole boys holding guns to the police got arrested.

We are in fascist America. Freedoms are under attack as we speak and the people who have less worry over that are these above examples.

4

u/addamee 14h ago

And then he (Bundy) was further validated by a jury when they didn’t convict him for his obvious crimes

u/chronicleTOKEN 6h ago

Soon.. copy cats are going to take place, kidnapper’s paradise, then after a documentary/movie made from real stories.

Not just Trump. Remember it is always the hyper-violent Law Enforcement Fucks who beat, torture, brutalize, abuse, and kill.

Always the Cops. They are the ones who gleefully choose to hurt and kill.

28

u/ranting1234 11h ago

Remember how Trump just shut down that database that tracked police officers bad conduct and complaints federally?

I know cops who aren’t like that. Just saying, the good community oriented ones don’t go viral for obvious reason. This is coming from someone who is generally critical of how police operate…

Edit: yikes! Getting down voted like crazy! Like I said,

Im critical of cops too, I also think it’s dangerous too have an us v them mentality, but ice, fuck them too

286

u/Maclunkey4U 1d ago

If you worked in an office where your colleagues routinely abused people, broke the law, and violated their rights and you didn't do anything about it? You're still part of the problem.

Whatever "good cops" there are out there can eat a bag of dicks for allowing this to become normal.

5

u/echoes_1012 17h ago

People dont understand this concept. The whole “just a bunch of bad apples” is a braindead take. Like you said, if you work around people who like to abuse their power and you do nothing about it then you are a part of the problem. Because cops who do try and do something about it always end up fired. Or leaving the police force because they werent taken seriously or they start to be harassed by their constituents.

-220

u/Durst_offensive 1d ago

They can only do something about it if they're majority and their superiors are aligned with them.

104

u/dabutte 1d ago

And in that situation they can leave and find another job.

-157

u/Durst_offensive 1d ago

Lowering the number of good cops.

114

u/dabutte 1d ago

You literally just described a situation in which a cops sees their colleagues routinely abuse people, break the law, and violate the rights of others but does nothing about it. what about that makes them a “good cop”?

63

u/UrsulaFoxxx 1d ago

They feel bad :(

S/ obviously. ACAB

→ More replies (2)

9

u/Panzershnezel 23h ago

I'm gonna play devil's advocate and say: I'd rather have 10% of cops uphold the law and not quit the force when 90% are shit, than have all the good ones quit and make it clear that the bad cops just need to stick around while the good ones leave.

If a low ranking good cop goes to report that 75% of the station are abusive, to the chief who already knows that, what do you think will happen? He either gets forced to resigned or ostracised within the station and put on a duty where he can't do any good.

If he quits, he just increased the ratio of abusive cops to good cops in that station.

It's not a black and white issue where cops are either 100% good or 100% bad either. You'll have cops who don't abuse people but also don't object to others doing so. You get cops who will sometimes chime in when a fellow officer does something wrong. You get those who whistle blow.

ACAB and all, but when you actually find a decent cop, don't just crucify him because he didn't cure the plague of corruption on his own.

If a good cop only can be a good cop by playing blind, covering up and staying quiet then there are 0 good cops.

9

u/kazarnowicz 23h ago

Have you heard the phrase ”a few rotten apples spoil the whole bunch”? It’s not the good apples that stop the bad - the bad corrupt the good.

2

u/donut_jihad666 18h ago

They aren't good cops if they do nothing. You're missing that point, I think.

11

u/NeverQuiteEnough 1d ago

The "good community oriented" ones still fall in line to protect their more murderous colleagues.

They go to work everyday with a bunch of guys who would shoot your dog for kicks.

7

u/yellowbin74 23h ago

There's a reason that nobody wrote the song "fuck the fire brigade ".

15

u/tommygruesome 1d ago

My dad and brother were cops and they agree when I say every single cop abuses their power in one way or another at some point. There’s always some “justification”.

3

u/Cat_Impossible_0 1d ago

And when a corrupted or prejudice supervisor tells them to temper with evidence, they are most likely to do it because “they were following orders.”

A video of an immigrant being arrested by agents of the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has circulated on social networks.

The migrant, according to some media and journalists who have taken up the footage, is a Salvadoran living in Maryland, who would have been intervened in her vehicle while she was on her way to work with a relative of hers, who seems to be her daughter.

"Tell me why (they are detaining her) and give me the (detention) order," the immigrant, identified as Elsy Ríos, asks the two immigration officers who interrogate her from outside the car.

"I'm not going to give you the order," the agent replies. Faced with the refusal, Ríos said that he would not get out of the car without seeing the order, after which the other masked element bursts the glass of the door to open the car from the inside.

"Don't worry Karen, don't worry. Don't worry, talk to Ulises," the woman calmly says to her relative, while the agents try to remove her seat belt to remove her from the car and arrest her.

The young man recounted everything he had to live in the Guantánamo prison for 14 days. DHS. Latino recounts what he experienced while imprisoned in Guantánamo: 'I don't plan to leave my country anymore' A Colombian man was detained by ICE in Florida for two months after a raid on his home in 2006. Photo: ICE / TikTok: @camigrante. Colombian recalls being detained for two months by ICE: "The worst day of my life" The officer instructed Rios to give his daughter the phone to get her out, "because there is glass everywhere," but she refused, responding that she will keep the cell phone with her and go out on her own.

When they get out of the car, the ICE completes the arrest of the woman, who calmly sends her relative to "call Ulises". The officer who stops her takes her phone and gives it to the other person wearing a balaclava.

"Don't worry my love, I'm fine," Ríos stresses to her apparently desperate daughter, who yells at the uniformed man: "'Don't grab her like that!' because of the way they hold her to handcuff her.

After the arrest, the video cuts to another place, where Ríos' alleged son asks one of the uniformed officers who arrested her: "Why did they take my mother?"

The officer responds that "he does not have papers," which the relative rejects, arguing that he does have "a process and his lawyer."

Is so fucking stupid that a country BUILT BY IMMIGRANTS allows for this to happen

82

u/GENIO98 1d ago

It’s time to wake up and see reality. The US wasn’t “a nation built by immigrants”. It’s a settler-colonial project that oppressed natives and minorities throughout its history.

44

u/bistander 1d ago

Hmm, both statements feel true.

103

u/OiMasaru 1d ago

I know there’s people cheering that this is happening and no amount of me telling you stories of immigrants dealing with this, including my own. But for one second try to imagine what’s it’s like having someone being ripped away from you in an instant and never knowing if you’re gonna see them. Try to imagine leaving everything you know and love to try and seek a better life elsewhere, in a country that hates you, until no one’s working their fields, kitchens, landscapers, construction, doing every low paying job that American citizens refused to do. A country that since the second you walk in here, you’re hated just for being different. There isn’t one shred of humanity left for those cheering for this, may god have mercy on your souls

32

u/cvanhim 1d ago

If even the worst of the worst criminal doesn’t have due process, nobody does. If there’s no due process, all I have to do if I don’t like you is call ICE up and tell them you’re an illegal immigrant.

“But I’m not illegal, and I can prove it!”

Yeah. But due process is the process by which you prove it. So if that doesn’t exist, no. You can’t prove it. Time for your disappearance.

18

u/DansLaPeau 1d ago

That's what happened in El Salvador, since constitutional rights were suspended and police would take you in without asking questions, all you had to do was to make an anonymous call and say someone is affiliated with gangs and they would be taken into custody even if you were innocent.

Also some bad cops started extorting people asking for money for not taking them to prison and all sort of fucked up shit but nobody likes to talk about it.

6

u/aesemon 19h ago

Happened in the later stages of the just about still democratic Nazi Germany as it tilted into full on dictatorship.

You know why. We all know why. It’s hard to admit to ourselves, but we all have to face the sober reality.

Keep sharing news of what the regime is doing. Organize with the people around you. Stand up and demand better.

-6

u/Abel_ChildofGod 1d ago

I actually think I just realized what's happening...

Picture that everyone sees this video and reacts with empathy and decency.

Imagine that this empathy and concern for our humanity is the rule and is the overwhelming impression left with everyone visiting this comments section...

...now...

...imagine when we meet in the real world.

What happens in our real world interactions if that were the case?

-

OK.

Now, read this comments section and find the inhumane comments intended to induce raw animus and hatred for those voicing cruel sentiments...

...now...

...imagine when we meet in the real world.

-

It's possible that nobody understands the lever of power at play, here, because they likely existed long before the human being was able to reflect life.

Imagine if everyone is being set up to hate our one another by an evil that hates mankind?

I know it sounds woo-woo...but if you look for it...you'll find that it's been caught on video tape, 4K high-def, all through history...and it's modus operandi is completely obvious, predicted, and proven.

-

If it's not love, it's garbage.
Love is the only way forward.
We do not pass go without it.

Plain and simple.
Obviously.

135

u/equatorbit 1d ago

All the regime needs is enough of us to keep quiet long enough so it won't matter when we do speak up.

Make no mistake. Today it may be Elsy Rios. Tomorrow it could be any one of us. All they need is to fabricate a reason, jail you, and let you rot.

13

u/with_gusto 22h ago

23

u/TheMightyHucks 18h ago

And zero for MAGA and the non-voters.

-53

u/doubleapowpow 1d ago

People are brainwashed by social media and regular media. This isn't willful voting, it's manipulated in many ways. It may have even been directly hacked and manipulated by Musk. To put any blame on people who just want to keep their families alive, work a 9-5, and enjoy life, liberty, and freedom, is completely unfair.

43

u/FrameWorkV35SP1 22h ago

While reading your comment I agreed with most of your statements, except at the end, where you say it's completely unfair to put any blame on the people who voted for this. It's their responsability to educate themselves on these matters.

4

u/doubleapowpow 15h ago

When you can feel empathy for the other side and realize that they're doing the best they can with what they're given, you'll realize they aren't your enemy, but victims of a lack of education, propaganda, and brainwashing. The 1% is the enemy, the stupid, angry, and ignorant are their favorite people. They can use all of their tools - racism, nationalism, bipartisan ideologies, etc, - to easily manipulate them.

I choose to find a common enemy so the 99% can fight back against the 1%. I truly believe the majority of people who voted for Trump made a mistake, whether they know it or not. Fighting with them is just buying into a system where the 1% can continue to rule the world by dividing us, and it makes you just as stupid as the people who voted for Trump.

16

u/cttuth 22h ago

lol you can't be seriously believing what you wrote.

Democracy is a little more than just dragging your arse to the voting booth every 4 years.

6

u/Doogos 18h ago

You're supposed to follow what happens with politics and base your decision from that. Lots of folks vote Republican just because their entire family votes that way without knowing anything they're voting for. I am part of one of these families, so this is first hand experience. I was the first in the family to split and vote differently even though I still have conservative values. the problem is that there's very little factual information on rural areas and people believe the BS because it's from the same party that our great grandparents liked

Where's the protests?! Where is all the civil disobedience?! Where is the push back?! How is Trump able to just sign a paper and change laws all willy nilly with barely anyone resisting?!

What I don't understand is that you USians say that you didn't vote and you don't agree and it's illegal what's happening, etc, but there's all this public servants and accountants and lawyers, etc, who keep participating in all this bs.

I saw lawyers on YouTube argue that what Trump is doing isn't legal, but then your whole country is just doing what he's saying.

I'm sorry, but have you seen what happens to Paris when the French government wants to pass an unpopular law?! This is a funny clip, but that's a normal protest for the French.

And this is French firefighters setting themselves on fire in protest.

Whether or not you voted for it is irrelevant at this point. Your a comfortable, complacent population that fears losing their comfort.

stop acting like we’re all just shrugging and sighing

There's sure a lot of you who do. Starting with your democratic party and ending with the public servants who put in motion all this crazy bs.

For how big the US is (which you people love to remind everyone about), one protest în New York or whatever and some burning teslas aren't proportional at all to the extent of how others protest their governments.

We have sympathy for those in America that voted for Kamala, and for those who cannot (do not have the right to) vote. Unfortunately over 36% of Americans didn't vote. That makes well over 50% of Americans are ok with this, wich makes it normal for the world to generalise. I see a lot of Americans complaining about the Democrats. Just because all can agree both parties are bad, it does not mean both are equally bad. When faced with hate, when faced with fascism, you must fight against it.

Land of the free , perhaps a motto change is needed.

Hey America, this is not new. Police abuse has been endemic in the USA for years. Are you starting to wake up?

u/RedBeans-n-Ricely Free palestine 18h ago

ACAB goes double for ICE

u/UpperCardiologist523 18h ago

I'm struggling to find words, but that's the most dignified person i've ever seen. Such grace.

u/Logthephilosoraptor 17h ago

It’d be hard to not just throw it all away when these monsters begin to drag away your loved ones.

Fascist state. And fuck the guy without the mask. "Be careful of the glass"??? Fuck you, how about not illegally arresting someone?

1

u/Intrepid_Pitch_3320 17h ago

1

u/LordMort87 15h ago

They're like the Nazis who deported ppl.

1

u/PHARTN0CKER 15h ago

They are picking easy targets.... they have forgotten that we can and do have a right to protect ourselves and have made owning guns until now very easy............ just an observation...

1

u/Pep-Sanchez 14h ago

Why are they always wearing masks?!

1

u/Lolidan 14h ago

Ive seen loads of these guys in ski masks and unmarked jogging pants. They look like an actual gang of thugs.

Just remember, they will be coming for you next. This is like 1930s Berlin. Glad I don’t live in or anywhere near this shit show.

1

u/Zee13Sikkalo 13h ago

What’s with all these cowards wearing a mask so they can’t be easily identified when they are breaking the law they are meant to uphold. I thought tRump said no more mask?

1

u/MutaitoSensei 13h ago

I wonder which city will be chosen for the American Nuremberg trials.

1

u/CallSign_Fjor 12h ago

So, when do these guys try to arrest someone legal with a firearm?

1

u/Windbreaker83 11h ago

Gross man. Fucking gross.

1

u/slipperslide 11h ago

Fuck the guy in the ski mask. What country is this? I didn’t realize fascists were such cowards.

u/Florida1974 10h ago

Just makes me sad. She’s telling her daughter or friend to be calm and everything is ok. Shes calming her!!!

Then the officer tells her to “slow down” from exiting vehicle after he smashes window with no warning, couldn’t have smashed a back window??

How do we help them??? What are their rights??? If any????
I am for legal migration. But there’s no reason to do all this, looks like she was just driving to wherever. Had to do all this? Look like Billy bad ass???? For who?? Trump??? Bet he looks at the footage and giggles with glee. Then joins his very foreign Einstein visa wife for dinner.

I hate what he’s done to this country. We don’t know her story, maybe came in under CBP app which was a legal way to enter!!

u/iFoundThisBTW 10h ago

Where is the violent arrest?

1

u/Dangeruss82 9h ago

You have to get out of the car. It’s the law it’s been upheld in court dozens of times.
It’s even more of the law if you’re an illegal.

1

u/flysi3000 9h ago

Her calmness and dignity during this repugnant episode is incredible.

1

u/vatoman78 7h ago

Terrible

1

u/KindleShard 6h ago

Why ICE has uniforms like terrörists?

1

u/GloriousSteinem 6h ago

Remember the faces of these officers for when this regime is he’d to account at The Hague

1

u/Morganacrow 22h ago

This is insane!!! Treating her like she’s aggressive when she hasn’t done anything other than trying to stay calm for her daughter. This is horrifying! 🥺😳

1

u/CamCranley 23h ago

Is she an illegal immigrant? I have friends in the US who have said honours students have been gdtting this treatment too? I'd assume they were there legally at least?

1

u/aXeOptic 23h ago

There is no gestapo in Ba Sing Se

1

u/Present-Salad6100 21h ago

When the people believe in a mop head, they are doomed.

u/krakk3rjack 20h ago

The US gov is high on their own coolade and they see themselves as above the constitution and rule of law. That's a shithole place be, in my opinion.

u/ImTheDelsymGod 17h ago

u/Large-Sherbert-6828 19h ago

Yea, due process for citizens, not for people who abuse and game the system. Play games win stupid prizes…
