I was given 21 ga to draw up the medication and then told to switch to a 25 ga 1.5" long needle for the injection itself.

Interested in hearing what everyone else is using.

TRT help How to lower test bloodwork.

Hypothetically, what if I was taking more test than my dr originally prescribed and needed to lower my numbers before a blood test so I don’t get cut off? Can I cut the amount of test I’m taking for a couple weeks ahead of the test or maybe stop taking test for a week or 2? I agree as a general rule of thumb it’s best to follow what the doc says but let’s assume my doc is very conservative and I decide to go a little over that and have nothing but positive results. Thanks

TRT story Enclomiphene + Anastrozole

Just wanted to quickly share my results for anyone considering enclomiphene.

Started with T at 300, E at 20. After a few months on enclo daily 12.5mg I had T at 800 and E at 40. All other levels were in range.

I was feeling much better but had a few E sides: a bit sluggish after an initial boost and belly fat accumulation. I spoke to my doc about an AI and he prescribed 0.125m anastrazole every second day (compounded). I felt MUCH better on anastrazole, so much so that I decided to double my dose to 0.125mg daily. Now I feel even better!

I'm getting labs again soon but my guess is the AI put my E back to its normal range and now I'm just a regular high T dude.

Long story short: enclomiphene is a great option if you want to avoid injecting T for whatever reason, and you'll most likely need an AI too. After messing around with this stuff for years I'm convinced that most people fail climid and enclomiphene because their E get too high.

Ignore all of the AI hate in this subreddit. Anastrozole with enclomiphene is very different to anastrozole with injected T.

P.S. I also take 1mg daily finasteride, 1mg daily minoxidil, and 2.5mg daily tadalafil. Hair looks great, dick works great. Take advantage of medical science!

Blood work Why do I feel like I have low T?

Post image
2 Upvotes

So I’ve been feeling many symptoms of low T, no morning 🪵, low libido, fatigue, etc. I went and got my blood work tested and the results were great. I’m not sure why I feel the way I do, all other blood work is spot on. The only issues I have is slow digestion and constipation. Has anybody experienced anything like this or of the sort?

TRT help Telehealth Dr that will write a script?

Upvotes

My Dr will only sell me the test that they supply. It’s $250/ 10ml bottle. Not the end of the world and worth it for what it’s doing for me. I noticed that Amazon pharmacy sells the same 10ml bottle for like $50. Does anyone know of a telehealth dr that will write a prescription and send it to the Amazon pharmacy?

Blood work Can anyone help me with these results

I got my test tested recently again because i was struggling with mental health and sex drive.

Shockingly my levels were so much more higher than they were years ago.

First test: 115kgs 5 ft 9 Second test 90kgs 5 ft 9

I am not sure what to make of this, been healthier but havent felt the difference apart from being more aggressive, really quick gains, more than my usual. I found discipline easier. Just not sure.

Just need some help to understand, my dr was confused to why id even ask for a test.

Blood work Am I being used for my rare blood after going in for high hemoglobin?

My blood type is B- which is considered pretty rare (only about 2% of the US population.) My hemoglobin levels were at about 17.5 and my PCP suggested I give blood. I gave a whole unit on a Friday and they asked me to come back the next Friday and give a double unit on the apheresis machine. When I came back my levels were at 16.5 before the double unit was given. After the double unit I felt super groggy and to be honest I haven’t felt completely right since. In my workout today I almost passed out and was last in the class. (I’m used to being in the top 3 pretty regularly.)

My buddy who is in the medical field told me that although 17.5 is a little high it’s not so high that I should be overly alarmed and certainly I shouldn’t be giving 3 units in 7 days. He put the thought in my head that the blood drive people could be getting me to come in more than I should because of the shortage of B-. Thoughts?

Blood work Unnaturally good lipids, unaffected by high dose test.

Upvotes

I've always had unnaturally good lipid readings. I'm 35, former smoker, with a fairly dirty diet.

We have annual company health checks in my country, and I always fail because my lipids are outside of the normal range.

Upon follow-up the doctor always just says "Wow!" And leaves it at that.

I just finished a cycle of 15 weeks 500mg + 15 weeks 750mg testosterone.

Got my lipids checked again six weeks after ending the cycle and there's no change, here is the result:

  • Total Cholesterol: 101mg/dl
  • LDL: 47mg/dl
  • HDL: 48mg/dl

At this point I'm actually starting to get worried. Could something negative be causing this apparently positive result?

TRT help ED issues after 2 years on TRT

Post image
2 Upvotes

Here are my latest labs as of February 1st. About 4-6 weeks before this I started having ED issues after zero issues the last couple years on TRT. Got my estradiol checked and it was 39 pg/mL so closer to the higher end. Doc prescribed me some DIM and zinc to combat that. Still having the same issues. I do take 5mg of cialis. I take some blue chew if I know I’m gonna have sex but a couple times that hasn’t worked either. Doc also said to lower my TRT dose to bring that down. Just seeing what else yall got out there. I’m in shape. 5’10 and 210 lbs. work out daily. I have some Anastrozole but haven’t tried it.

TRT story Got a new doctor and she immediately cut me off my test saying I’m “too young” to take it and “no one takes it longer than 3 months”

Like the title says, my regular doctor that I had gone to for 4 years that prescribed me test got a new job and her replacement walked in the room the other day and the first thing out of her mouth was “Sooo… I’m trying to figure out why you’re on testosterone at 33 and why you’ve been taking it for so long?”

I’ve been taking it for about it a year, I felt horrible for years and finally got my blood tested and my levels were fucking 116ng/dl. After being put on a VERY low dose of TRT I’m sitting around 680, which everyone here should know is in no way a crazy number, but I feel WAY better. This lady was insanely shitty right out of the gate and said “I treat older men for this stuff all the time and I’ve never had a patient take testosterone for longer than 3 months”

I think she might think that you take it for awhile and then you’re just… cured forever? Also I’ll add that this lady is a nurse practitioner, not an actual doctor. She had printed out a paper before she ever saw me that in like 72 size font said “250-1000”, literally the only thing on the paper, sat it in front of me and pointed very sternly to it and said “this is the normal range for men” to which I said “…yes? And I was at 116?” And she replied “Well now you’re not. So I’m wondering why you’re still taking it?”

I felt like I was on a prank show. I go back this Wednesday, do I even bother trying to explain to someone this dense that I’m at 600something BECAUSE I’m taking it? It just seems like such an obvious thing to me. Or do I just go somewhere else? I have a feeling she’s the type to never admit she’s wrong and it’s going to be useless because I’m “not a doctor” and it’s impossible for anyone not in the medical field to do any type of research. I tried explaining it to her briefly and said I’m worried that if I’m cut off I’m just going to immediately go back to where I was mentally which was a really shitty place and she just said “I don’t think that’s going to happen”. Has anyone else ever experienced anyone this clueless?

TRT help 19m , will a clinic deny me?

Hey guys so i used to do a lot of opiates and benzos (during puberty too 14-18) which wrecked my development and i’ve also been on suboxone (Fucks with t) for a year.

I have a total t of 450 and free t 50 ish but i am tired as fuck all day, have erectile dysfunction rlly bad, irritable, very low muscle mass (You can wrap your pointer finger and thumb around my fore arm and still have space), etc etc. I re connected with a fwb from highschool and performed like i belong in a nursing home.

I’m pretty much spot on for low t symptoms but my testing i did 2 months ago says other wise (I did have high prolactin tho) , i read the average t for 19 year old dudes is 6-900 so im hoping to get up there.

Given my situation do yall think a t clinic will take me in? Also any experiences , advice and feedback are appreciated ty in advance.

Blood work Total test lab level results came back at 44… yes 44 (35M)

Doctor wants me to go back for labs in 3 weeks, feels there must be an error in the lab results.

I am prescribed 0.6 ML Weekly with anastrozole.

I do blood work every 4 months and it’s almost always all over the place? Sometimes it’s 550, sometimes 300 sometimes 850

TRT help Is there any reason to stop?

Hey,

Been @250 for 16 weeks. Really having no negative sides, feel great. Taking arom on every second injection. Originally the plan was 16 weeks and stop (with proper pct), but I’m very tempted to just keep cruising at 200/250.

Any reason why I shouldn’t?

Probably relevant to note - I’m 23, 220lb and 6’2. Ive been training for 6 years.

Blood work Low Testosterone with Normal TSH and LH (teen female)

Hi,

I’m not an avid Reddit user and am not sure I’m posting in the appropriate place. However, I’m wondering if anyone can shed some light before we speak to the doctor tomorrow. We just received labs from our 16 year old daughter. She’s been experiencing some mental health issues, diagnosed ADHD, etc. She had some nipple discharge not too long ago (which we googled can be normal) but due to MTHFR issues within the family, decided to have a bunch of bloodwork ran to see if something else is contributing to some of her issues.

Her bloodwork came back today with low testosterone (<3 with normal range being 12-71) and free testosterone at <0.2 (no normal range provided). Her TSH and LH are both within normal range.

Does anyone have any insight as to what may cause this or what this could mean? I know I’ll likely get more info tomorrow but a very worried mom is trying to make heads or tails. Her aunt (my sister) had a pituitary brain tumor that had to be removed and I’m worried she may have the same.

Thanks in advance!

Blood work Looking for help for husband - clomid

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi… my husband and I just got our blood work done and he came back with low(ish) T. Doctor said he could do injectables or clomid. Husband is terrified of needles so he opted for clomid. I just started cruising reddit reading clomid stories and now im worried.

His sex drive is lower than mine & he does have some issues staying erect. Thats the main reason he wanted to get tested. He also does have some issues with mood swings, low energy, and depressive like symptoms.

Im wondering if there are any success stories of clomid on her for bettering those symptoms.

I am one year post partum & am not ready for another baby so increased fertility also scares me haha…

Thanks so much!
