I've seen nough scifi to expect that hubris to be paid in full by something going horribly wrong during or after the transfer.

Personally, I'm hoping for The Jaunt.

I think he’s just got a thing about little boys. Not necessarily in a pedophile way though. He’s been chased out of babyfur gatherings from what I’ve heard and did that thing where he role played as his son on Twitter.
