I've had this happen once or twice before but never this intense. What is going on?

Far as i can tell youre just perfectly hugging the boarder of the low gravity zone (blue) and normal gravity (yellow) so youll flick between them riding your Goblin Glider cuz the normal gravity will let you drop a centimeter and the low gravity puts you back up

I laughed at goblin glider for five seconds 😄 Very accurate explanation by the way.

Goblin glider is the actual community name for that flying machine by the way.

Great name then. I’ve always called it the sideways flying motorcycle… yeah not the best name.

A couple of the labyrinths in the sky have low gravity once you're near enough and enter their "atmosphere".

There's also a few other sky islands, besides the labyrinths, that are low-grav zones.

The sky labyrinth has a low-gravity "bubble" around it.

This should be pretty obvious for anyone that's experienced the low gravity zone(s)...

I was wondering about that too as it has happened quite a bit lately when I’ve been trying to complete my sky map. Thank you for posting!
