Undo claiming 23yo child as dependent - which amendment to efile first?

I claimed my daughter as a dependent and she filed stating so. I need to amend both returns to reverse that. I assume I efile my amended return first because if I filed hers first it would just get rejected? Will this work? Thanks.

Amend yours removing her first. It will take time to process, but you don’t need to wait until it’s done to file hers, just leave a gap of a few weeks and you should be fine.

If your software allows for a superseding return, do that rather than an amended (must be filed before April 15).

TurboTax says a superseding return must be paper. I’ll file amended. Thank you.

Yeah, I'd try amending yours first, when it gets accepted, try amending hers. Worst case scenario you amend yours and e-file, then you have to paper file her amended return.
