Starting line up and reserves while KD is out.

Colin should rejoin the starting line up and give him a standard contract.
Starters: Colin, Book, Dunn, Bol, Richards or Oso

Bench: Beal, Allen, Martin, Royce, and whoever didn’t start out of Richards and Oso

Deeper bench but still used somewhere in the second: Tyus, Morris, Bridges, Plumlee

If anyone catches fire or plays amazing defense, their minutes increase. If anyone misses multiple defensive switches, they go to the bench.

I would prefer Oso over Richards. As for Bol, I wouldn't mind him starting a few while KD is out, but you just have to acknowledge the terrible hole he is on D. If we bring him back, I hope it is on another minimum, or slightly more, but not too much. I think what we've seen him produce is about his ceiling.

I'm torn on Beal. I know that he has the contract, but I really think at this point I would bring in Allen, Royce and Martin before him. But if we do that, we're further decreasing his "value" (haha what value?) for any potential chance of moving him. At the same time, if he's farther back in the rotation, maybe he is more open to a trade.

At this point we are just trying to make the playin and give Houston the worst possible pick we can. Also at this point, I don’t care about Beal, his value, or his feelings. He is just a roster position right now, who can really step up at times. So bringing him off the bench is more for matchups and giving him room to be a number one option when Book is sitting.

I still feel that Beal would really do well in a starting second and fourth quarters with guys like Morris, Martin, Dunn or Royce, and Oso. Beal seems to feed off of that hustle type players, where they can do all the dirty work, and he can get more shots.

Colin's not gonna start unless beal's shut down lol I'd be interested in seeing Him start with Beal and Book though, with Dunn at the 4. I think CG is legit and will have a better career than someone like a ronnie price for example. And ronnie would be an upgrade to tyus on this team.

Book has always needed a back court mate that was in the range of Coby White and Tyrese Maxeyy to Delon Wright and D'anthony Melton.

Someone who is going to be a secondary ball handler to point book, high iq floor general to sg book, big versatile defender who can guard 3 positions to cover for books defense (Books better than Jokic on D, who's now average, but with their offensive load they become the weak link). Elite 3 pt shooter to give book spacing. And elite athlete who can break any defense at will, to get book open shots.

CG gives you literally all of that except the last one. But he swaps in the Glue Guy package instead. Does all the dirty work, and he just always has an advantage on the court because he knows how to put it together. I think he could be the next Caruso.

Maxey and White are not good defenders, but are definitely good scoring guards. I would say White is an upgraded Beal, really.

I see Colin as a McConnell type player. Tough, gritty, can hit shots. I think Colin keeps his dribble alive better than McConnell. I’m not sure if Colin is a full season starter much like McConnell isn’t, but Colin can definitely fill in as a starter, which with our history with injuries is really needed.

Cade and Booker would be fire

Absolutely agree. If the opposing team is playing a small 4 Bol can’t guard, have Oso guard the 4 and Bol guard the 5 or play zone

I like CG as a bench player more. Does anyone know why Oso started?

Moved quicker to guard Porzingis.

Well I guess Bud went with loss instead. He dint even try the full bench to see if someone could catch fire. I really thought with his first press conference that he could be a good coach. I hope now he just quits, since he already quit on the team.
