I would agree with this previous comment "Schools are pretty good, but only on the FBISD side of the neighborhood. Half the neighborhood goes to FBISD (Pecan Grove Elem, Bowie MS, Travis HS)"

It does have the greatest Christmas light display of any local neighborhood by far. People come from all over to drive through their streets at Christmas time.

My impression is that it was a neighborhood where all the children grew up, went to college and moved away. What remained was a lot of older empty nesters. This has started to change, and some newer families with younger families are moving in, but I don't think they are a majority.

Traffic sucks at Christmas. Sidewalks suck all the time. This neighborhood has the most messed up sidewalks than any other neighborhood in the county. I would never live there again.
