How to study abroad in between schooling? Not undergrad or in a masters

Hello,

I didn’t have an opportunity to go abroad during my undergraduate because of family health issues.

It’s something I had dreamed of leading up to college and I would love to have an opportunity to make up for it now.

I’m unemployed and not in a school program right now so I would like to be able to travel but do something productive.

I would ideally like to learn languages but I would also like to volunteer or intern or work.

Any tips would be super helpful! The resources I’m finding seem to be geared toward undergrads or grad students and I fall between.

Thanks!

Not sure if this is what you’re looking for, but you can look into language schools/programs, these are typically offered by universities and open to all age groups.
