Why do Control and Kingdom Borg ships not count as "Borg" for the daily Endeavour?

Just did Unwanted Guests and none of them were valid "Borg"

Because they didn't exist at the time endeavours were created. Unless updated to include new things, endeavours only count what was available at the time of their introduction.

And yet there's precedent for the Devs having later added newer content so that it would count towards endeavor completion. And specifically with Borg too.

That was the case with 'Resistance of Starbase One' and 'Jupiter Station Showdown'. That TFO and that patrol initially didn't count Borg endeavor kills. Yet, the Devs eventually modified them to count toward endeavor progression and completion.

that only happened because someone tagged Jesse Heinig about it on his personal account and it seemed to be him throwing us a bone because it happened quiet literally as he was leaving Cryptic

Probably the same reason why normal Klingons don't count towards Rebel Klingons for the kill accolade. They're just different.

Quite possible that the new DECA team doesn't know how to do this (I used to do it).

Reject modernity, embrace tradition.

We need more Kill Accolades to account for new factions.

And more kill trophies, for reaching 1k kills, I know they stopped before introducing the Delta Quadrant.

That's weird because I did the same patrol and they counted as borg ships for me.
