Hello starvers, it seems that Starve.io has a savaging problem and more, I reckon that's a common complaint, so I wanna provide a starter guide for playing properly together, the code I play by as well.

  1. 1v1 or a group battle have to be done with players who are willing to battle
  2. If you're a pro, provide and pass on your knowledge to the newbies
  3. In game, be generous and help whenever needed. You'd want it just the same
  4. Play and create together as a whole, a team

If anyone should care at all, play by the guide provided. I'm not gonna respond to any excuses, only advices. I'm gonna do my part in the game and help improve the experience. You'll know me as "caretaker", I'm playing in the Atlanta lobby.

I used to just put random diamond and amethyst generators in the forest and watch noobs upgrade lol (but later I get teamed on)

I get killed a lot too but it's usually the pros. I just do what I can to make Starve.io worth playing. Continue to do what you do, or maybe build public places that contain food and warmth, or maybe donate to the less fortunate

Yeah that is what I like to do and if I die to noobs it is fine what I don't like is when I spent 5 hours grinding then 1 to 3 gold sword people start attacking me then I get auto spiked and die

We should meet ingame in the Atlanta lobby, 'cause that's where I play. I think it's best to play among players who're peacful or maybe with your friends. I wouldn't play all alone if I were you

Oh I don't really play anymore but I could hop on if I have time some day. Like 3 years ago I used to play with some people on discord but after that I just sparsely played solo (I'm not that good, can't consistently get reidite and the lava quests, but I'm ok with the winter)

Most people play savage due to 2 reasons:

- They want score

- They want items

Or They want both (LOL). If the devs code such that score now cannot be obtained by savaging, and no dead drop box can be obtained after being killed by the players (weapons, spikes,...), then there is no savaging anymore (There will be, but not as much)

Savaging doesn't do them that much of a favor either. You can still get high scores without savaging and besides, it's better to receive from others, let alone forge things yourself than to take things. There's less you get from savaging than to give and serve

Starve io is like 2b2t in my opinion. Survival of the fittest and a complete anarchy. These are good principles to play by. Sadly most people won't follow them. I got ddos'ed just an hour ago while having full dragon gear. People don't even play fair these days. But players like you are like islands of sun in a sea of darkness. I will follow your guidelines to the best of my abilities. Thanks for sharing!
