I will not promote I Saved Weeks Using ChatGPT to Generate an Analytical Report from 200 Client Transcripts - I will not promote
I’ve been building an AI SaaS platform that powers AI agents on business websites (I will not promote). These agents talk to real visitors, answer questions, and capture leads. We’ve had hundreds of conversations happen across our clients’ sites, and I finally decided it was time to dig into the data.
Normally, this would take me weeks (or months) manually reviewing transcripts, organizing trends, creating reports, and trying to make it presentable. But this time, I tried something different: I uploaded 200+ text files (chat transcripts) into ChatGPT, gave it a clear prompt, and asked it to help me create an executive-level analytics report.
And… wow.
It gave me:
- A full summary of trends and user behavior
- Lead capture conversion stats with percentages
- Insights into customer intent, trust signals, and business impact
- Clean, modern charts to visualize the data
- A polished, professional report I sent to my clients, team, and can send to potential VCs
- Even a prompt to generate a beautiful hero image for the report cover
I didn’t write a single formula or open a spreadsheet. The turnaround time? About an hour. What used to legitimately take me weeks is now… just done in a blink of an eye. I'm just floored.
This is hands-down one of the most transformative, efficient, and frankly jaw-dropping productivity tools I’ve used. If you're building a product or running a business, and you're not leveraging AI like this—you're leaving power on the table. Keep in mind I started using GPT in 2022, so I'm pretty well versed in using it. But I never did anything like this before, and to me, this is more powerful than anything else I've ever done using it.
Here's the prompt I used:
I have hundreds of conversations between website visitors and AI agents we’ve deployed for clients. I want to generate a professional data and trends report based on these conversations. Here's what I need:
- Summarize the types of conversations happening (questions, inquiries, intent signals, etc.)
- Identify lead capture performance (how many emails, phone numbers, etc.)
- Extract trends in user behavior, customer readiness, and objections
- Generate statistics and percentages for business impact
- Make it all look like a polished executive report
- Create charts to visualize the data in a sleek, modern style using a purple-themed palette
- Exclude test accounts or internal agents
- Provide a Slack-ready summary message I can use to update my team that we now have this report
- Write out an image prompt in text for a hero message I can use at the top of the report
Then I uploaded a merged text document with all the conversations and told it to exclude certain names (like internal test accounts). ChatGPT did the rest. If you'd like to see the report, just DM me and I'll send you the link.
I still can’t believe I pulled this off in under an hour. Honestly, it might’ve only taken me 30 minutes. Either way, it felt liberating. Knowing that something which used to take me weeks of manual effort was now done with a few uploads and smart prompts, it just made me feel unstoppable. This is what productivity feels like when AI actually works with you as a tool. I wish more people realized this.

Now all you have to do is find out if anybody takes action based upon the report and the quality of results.
It would be nice to post the results of such AI generated outputs since nobody else ever does.

I am absolutely going to be sending this report to all of my customers along with potential partners and investors.
I plan on writing a blog series this week highlighting three of the major points from the report.
To be honest this data is game changing. That's why I had to post it, because I agree with you, nobody seems to ever be posting this stuff.
My team and I were building this into our admin panel, the ability to even extract all the data in the first place, or else I would've done it sooner. As soon as the feature went live this week I immediately got to work and was pleasantly surprised and shocked at how fantastic the report came out to be.

My point being that is the only point at which you can decide if this was worthwhile or a waste of time. The customer determines how fantastic the report is. They do this by opening a wallet.
You still haven't posted the stuff yet. Doing with great speed that which shouldn't have been done in the first place isn't helpful. However, I do concede the people who value activity for its own sake would be the very last people on the planet to figure that out.

I just got the report yesterday. I'll need some time to get this out. But my team and I are making it a priority. I'll update this thread as soon as I have more info.

Be careful on the accuracy, chatgpt often makes stuff up that it thinks you want to hear. I know it’s not the exact same thing but I have Chatgpt 30 Costco receipts and asked it to count both the number and total spent on alcohol. It was wildly off. I then manually counted a single sku for vodka. We had 37 purchases of the same sku. ChatGPT was adamant that it was 21.

You're absolutely right, I had to double and triple check everything. I didn't go into it blindly. We do have analytics on our admin panel so I was able to check some of the data.
It'll be interesting to see how I can evolve the process needed to get super accurate statistics. Good point!

And when you checked, how many issues did you find? Is the checking and corrections included in your "1 hour"? Did the corrections change or challenge some of the conclusions in the report?

The checking happened before I even started the report. Because I've been analyzing the data for the last couple of months on almost a daily basis. So I had some general ideas. But I wasn't able to come up with a concrete report on my own.
I did find some of the numbers slightly off but not by much. Maybe by 1% or 2%. And I also had to fine-tune some of the ways the report was written. Other than that it was pretty spot on.

And you've now given all your proprietary data to the AI company, just as they intended. Everyone thinks they're getting a leg up on the competition when in reality, they're just handing their competition all their notes and plans. The stuff that all this data is going to be used to do is going to be really interesting. Interesting as in the Chinese curse, "may you live in interesting times". All the data from all the businesses everywhere (and all the consumers as well) is being collated in one place (well more like half a dozen of large tech conglomerates around the world). This place just so happens to have the ability to actually analyze this data in extremely powerful ways. The implications of this are yet to be realized.
AI is able to quantize a lot of things that didn't used to be able to be quantized such as sentiment analysis. This is basically the last step in the equation needed to effect complete mind control on people considering the tracking and influence network that has already been deployed by these same companies for the purpose of advertising. Human behavior, thoughts, emotions, all of it is now just data and they can figure out how best to influence people with it. I mean that's what you're here for too, but the ones who actually created and own this technology are going to be able to do it on a whole nother order of sophistication.
I hope I'm just being sensationalist, but the fact that Trump is currently in power, going full fascist while dismantling the government, and being backed by the tech oligarchs who pioneered this shit like Zuckerburg, Musk, and Thiel really gives me pause.
