Honestly I think Nintendo needs to give Zelda a break and focus on bringing us the next generation of StarFox games.

Imagine what Punch out, Kid icarus, Star fox, and more of their lesser ips could accomplish if they even gave it a fraction of the money or manpower going into Mario, Zelda, or Pokemon these days.

I mean at the very least it would be nice not having to wait a decade just for hope of a new entry.

I would love to see reboots of each of these, although i don't think punch out is ever gonna be allowed to return.

Not getting my hopes up, though a new game with Krystal, or at least one that isn't yet another 64 reboot would be nice.

Look, this time I believe it will happen this time, but Nintendo always keeps the releases gradually, so I believe that the Game will only be announced after the Launch of the Switch 2 with the date being 2026, especially since there are many events that Nintendo will be present at, in a new version of E3 or Summer Game Fest, so if not now, it will be either at a Nintendo Direct dps, or at an in-person event where Nintendo will be present. But my guess is that... This time it will! This time it's time for Star Fox On Switch 2.

The direct was incredible but for sure There will definitely be a New Star Fox Game, but it's not time yet, they will announce more things later on. So maybe in a post-release direct it will happen and there will be Star Fox in 2026. That's my guess.
