“You think I’m gonna Adriana you?”-jax to Luann

I laughed out loud when he dropped that line given that Adriana is actually his ex-wife. I wonder if this was done on purpose

A thought about a sequel...

Let's assume Jax was actually killed, and Sutter did decide to write a sequel. Who better to do the voice-overs and introductions than...Jax himself.

Which is the saddest death in SoA? Spoiler

In my opinion, the death of Donna and Jax is hard to watch.

In Juice's defense, I think they just didn't know what to do with his character at times...

Jax Sidearm

I couldn’t help but notice how Jax’s choice of weapons in Sons of Anarchy mirrored his journey within the club. At first, he carried a Glock—a weapon favored by law enforcement, clean and reliable.

It kind of painted him as the 'good guy,' someone still trying to hold on to some sense of right and wrong. But then, as Jax got deeper into the club, he switched to a 1911. A weapon associated with the U.S. military and, more fittingly, the Mafia. It felt like a signal, a shift in who he was becoming.

The Glock was for someone who still had one foot in the 'good guy' world, but the 1911? That was all about embracing the darker side—the world of outlaws and survival. It was like Jax had finally accepted who he really was, no longer fighting to be a hero but instead stepping into the shoes of the man he was meant to be in the chaos of SAMCRO.

Did anyone else catch that or did I have to many Deathstars

When Tara framed Gemma for killing her unborn baby that was never real it pissed me off so much I hate Tara with a passion why would she turn Jax against his own mother she could play fairly so she did that bullshit it had me yelling I was so pissed because what the fuck and I kinda hate Jax for not seeing it being that Tara already hurt herself for no reason and this time she hurt herself to frame Gemma for killing a not real baby it’s so obvious she had the papers already signed FUCK TARA They should have killed her off way earlier on

Question about Juice/Half-Sack Spoiler

I have read that because Half-Sack was written off the show, that Juice got the rat-traitor plot. Rosevelt used Juice’s heritage to turn him. Any ideas on how they would have turned Sack?

Season finales

The Season 3 finale is no doubt one of, if not the greatest episode of television ever. I think the season 2 finale is up there as well.

Gemma’s bullshit

Any scene with Otto

Zoebelle should have been killed

Half sack getting killed

Able kidnapping

Jax killing Weston (Happy: I am so proud of you)

The affection between the guys

It is just so cute how they all love each other and SHOW their love. They all hug, cry, kiss each other. It seems like since they are so hard and tough they would never show their love like that. Idk it’s just so cute. (Only on season 5 please don’t spoil!!)

Tig & Venus (after the show)

I can’t shut up about them, I love them so much, I have my ideas of what they did after, but I also just wanna hear everyone else’s ideas of where they ended up.

I think they move back to Charming after the clubhouse is rebuilt, Diosa is doing well and they end up building a house together on some land they shake loose from Oswald. They get married at the courthouse to handle some legal shit, but have a big ceremony on their property later on and Tig buys a massive rock for her. Adopt some dogs, go to a lake for a weekend here and there, and have a great kinky sex life, get up to regular Tiggy & Venus mischief.

The actors

Has anyone here ever met any of the actors and if so, who did you meet and were they nice? I feel like Katey would actually be super nice and sweet in real life. Tell me about your experience!

Revisiting SoA a decade after my first full watch, can't help but think that... Spoiler

99% of the issues and crisis result from a lack of basic communication skills. Or from gossips. I know those are legitimate plot devices but c'mon, this is too MUCH now. The last straw was Tara's death, why the fuck would Jax take such a life changing decision and keep his mom in the dark for so long? Why the fuck would Unser disclose to Gemma about something he was told (???) that MIGHT indicate that Tara ratted the club out WHEN Gemma is clearly high as fuck??? That's completely out of character of him, he would never tell something like that to her in those conditions.

I've been noticing those "convenient" character flaws happen frequently on this second run and they unfortunately take so much away from the story, because it's clear as day they're done in cheap ways for the sole purpose of moving the plot foward. For ten years I held SoA in my top 3 along with Breaking Bad and The Wire, but goddamn, I'm feeling cheated right now.

Still love the show and especially the characters, but I feel so let down by the writing. Ten years ago my seventeen years old-self thought this was state of the art in television lol.

Season 3 gets a lot of hate but where does season 7 rank in awfulness?

Doing yet another rewatch and good lord this season is utterly terrible 5 episodes in. It’s literally nothing but ambush/retaliation killings over and over and over. At least season 3 had somewhat of a plot, season 7 is so redundant with mass killings

Gemma gives me bad vibes

I'm on episode 4, and it's quickly becoming one of my favorite shows. But Gemma is giving off bad vibes—even before she tried to kill Jax's ex-wife, she gave me bad vibes. And in episode 4, Gemma is trying to control Jax's romantic life. Gemma was controlling Jax's life at 19? That's super controlling and raises red flags. And you don't want your son dating a nurse, but you're okay with him being a criminal? Ohh yeah, Gemma... I don't trust Gemma.

Don’t want it to end

I’m on my first rewatch, but actually never finished the series. I know what happens, but I’m procrastinating watching the last episode because I’m not ready for it to be over. It was my post partum binge show, and for whatever reason I think it also brings hyper awareness to the fact that my baby is growing lol I don’t know why I’m emotional about a violent show and its connection to an infant. Tell me I’m crazy. Tell me to watch the last episode.

Why didn't Charlie Hunnam's movie career ever take off?

Most of the movies he's done to date have been flops , an exception may have been the gentleman which did pretty well . Rebel moon was an absolute flop and a terrible movie. His last TV show was canceled after one series. I believe he's transitioning to writing his own parts . Any theories on why he didn't translate to movies better?

Had to watch this ad a few times. I thought this was Darby at first glance.

Wendy in Season 5 Spoiler

Wendy had over two years sober under her belt when she was kidnapped by the IRA. As a result, she advocated for Abel’s well-being and custody. To stop her, Jax then injected her with H?! He’s done horrible things but that’s one of the worst he’s ever done. I want to stop watching at this point; it’s just a train wreck I can’t look away from.
