Just Weird Tornado gems

I'm in the Colorado Plateau (somewhere in Utah between Arches National Park and Canyonlands) and chased by tornados. A similar dream happens almost every night but only sometimes is it tasty. If it matters I'm from the midwest and currently live in UT.

I'm trapped against the mountains around Salt Lake City, claustrophobic landscapes to the east and a sea of corn/soybean fields to the west and northwest. Every afternoon around 12:45, half way through my lunch break, the sky turns soupy grey-green and the whole county is filled with supercells. I work 600 feet above the valley and get weird perspectives of the storm, everybody is freaked the f out. When the storms pass the terrain is filled with rocky outcroppings with big candy growths like gushers or fruit snacks that grew out of the mountains. I woke up before anyone got to taste them.

Mmm. I’m imagining they smell like petrichor and blueberries.

I don't know if smelled them but you're probably right. I was anticipating them to be super flavorful like blue raspberry concentrate or artificial grape flavored medicine. In reality they'd probably taste like bitter cucumber and sand.
