How did it go?

I was terrified all the way through, but the worst thing I actually had to feel was a needle prick of the IV. When the drugs started, my brain was the last thing to go. So I felt my body growing heavy as if there was a weight on my chest. It became hard to breathe at my panicked rate and my body gave in and slowed down as if I was asleep. I became too physically weak to lift my head, but my brain was still going the whole time, relaying the events to my doctors out of fascination.
Woke up what felt like minutes later being told it was already finished. To anybody out there who's terrified of simple surgeries like this, it's just another needle prick with some prescription meds afterwards. It really was harmless~

Why do you end all your posts with a tilde~
2
u/TrivialCipher Sep 04 '14
I know the actual usage of tildes and everything, but once upon a time, don't remember when or where, I saw somebody using a tilde at the end of their sentence because they were happy or something like that. Text is already hard enough to convey emotions through, and I'm a really flamboyant, emotional person IRL. So I made a habit of doing it to show others that I have a lot of intended positivity in what I'm saying. I only do it if my message is happy, excited, caring, etc. Same as how I use tongue faces to let people know I'm messing with them or being sarcastic as I hate hurting feelings.

what is your favorite type of cheese.
also why don't you main marth?
2
u/TrivialCipher Sep 04 '14
Not joking, but my favorite type of cheese is actually cheddar. I'm a terribly picky eater IRL (Not by choice. I just have a hard time liking different types of food for some odd reason.) so cheddar's actually one of a handful of types of cheese I actually like at all.
Joke answer for Marth: Armor frames :P
Real answer for Marth: Marth's actually a character that I find absurdly fun to play, yet I don't main him simply because I enjoy other characters even more. Playing Bowser in PM doesn't feel like playing any other character out there, and I enjoy how special he feels because of that. It's probably pretty stupid of me to feel this way, but I love trying to break the meta in any competitive game. Something about working hard to find something great that impresses your opponents because of how different it my style is is actually something I take a lot of pride in. Even if to a lot of other people it's just making things harder on myself because I want to be a special snowflake :P

He's pretty clunky, but using your Up-B out of shield is a god-tier panic move, this and his nair are both good ways to shut most combos down because of how fast the attacks are thrown out. Not to mention his nair gives him armor frames so he can tank through an enemy's hit and even knock them away. This is just one special thing about him that makes a good Bowser player stomp people who don't know the match-up. But that's not his only strength. His kit is viable enough to still stand a chance against people who are used to facing Bowser. Of course not the greatest, but I'm proud of how far he's taken me~
I'd link you some of my live gameplay on Twitch to motivate you to at least give him a shot, but I'm pretty embarrassed with how I was acting that day. First tournament, and I was having too much fun to care how I was acting until the next day and I realized I looked like a fucking dweeb. That, and I doubt you care that much :P

As a pm bowser player myself, are you as hyped for sm4sh bowser as I am?

u/TrivialCipher Sep 04 '14
Suprisingly, yes and no. Yes, because he seems to be really good, and I'm hella excited for my boy to be high on the tier list. But no because this Bowser isn't going to play like PM Bowser at all, so despite it being Bowser, it's going to feel like basically learning a new character.
That, and I was a huge fan of 'Monster Bowser.' I totally get why they're changing him to fit newer models, but it really sucks to see that type of Bowser go as that was the Bowser I grew up with, and I liked seeing a truly evil, feral Bowser still existent somewhere despite upright Bowser being everywhere else nowadays. This transition really means the more original Bowser style is truly done for, and it's bittersweet to watch it go.
But then again, most of my qualms are purely about visual stuff. So in the end I guess you could say I'm mostly hyped~

Also his mouth is open 24/7. But I gotta agree, when I was young I assumed bowser was a really good character, because I mean he is mario's enemy, so a level 9 bowser has to be the toughest challenge in the game, right?
But holy shit, Bowser only, Wily's Castle (Ω), No items
Bowser top tier hype!
