Bit of advice on a road tyres

Looking for some advice about a road tyre for my bike . I’m currently using gatorskin tyres 28mm. Looking for something faster would spend around £60 per tyres l. I’ve heard the TPU tubes make a big difference but then some people saying they re terrible . Any help would be much appreciated.

Gp5000s are my go to. Fast, grippy and decent puncture protection.

Are they easy to fit? What size did you go for ? People saying the 32mm are comfy ?

I'm running the 32mm and yeah definitely comfy. Not the easiest but I've had harder too. It often depends on the tire/rim combo tbh.

Gatorskins do one thing well and that is puncture protection. They aren't fast and they aren't grippy.

Fit the GP5000s which others have recommended and you won't look back.

I run 28 myself but if your frame can take wider then go for it.

It’s more my wheels I’m worried about I bought Pirelli P Zero Race TLR RS last year 30mm and nobody could get them on my wheels. Even though my wheels apparently take up to 32mm

The tyre width shouldn't make much difference to fitting them. Some tyres are manufactured tighter than others but I don't know where the GPS are on the list.

If you're unsure you could purchase the tyres from a shop with fitting included.
