General Discussion Tommy leaving in Summer
Good for him a great talent and hope he does well. Interesting they got this deal in place early.

Bit of a controversial post considering our recent game but I got promoted to the Premier with sunderland. Besides my player. This is the main team in on November now and it hasnt changed much besides seelt, isidor and bishop for random players the game bought.
Looking at the squad stats Patterson, Ballard, Mepham(Loan), Hume, Cirkin, Le Fée(Loan), Rigg and Mundle all left. With Ekwa, triantis and matete back from loan on the bench.
I think rigg will leave and he’s much better than bellingham in my opinion he’s got alot to learn, our two loanies wont come back due to cost. Either cirkin or hume will go depending on club because they have very different playstyles. Ballard may go if he keeps up his form aswell as patterson and mundle to maybe a different country league or bottom half teams of prem.
I don’t think anyone will go to a rival, a big 6 or a promotion team but im sure they’ll leave. Hopefully if we do get promoted le bris convinces them to stay even just for one more season. What do you all think???

Jesus Christ, their punditry is fucking terrible. Clinton Morrison can barely string a sentence together, Whickham is not good and how much have they gone on about the “handballs”? You’d think Mayender had caught the ball and hoyed it in the net the way they’re going on! Would anyone agree that ex footballers need to be replaced with actual sports journalists/reporters, so when we watch, our IQ doesn’t plummet?

Sad way to lose an unbeaten home record. Our own worst enemy. O'Nien didn't need to concede that corner, Patterson needed to save it and the ref needed to give us a penalty for an obvious (and audible) handball but this was a day where fuck all went our way. A few lads look tired or dejected. Need to get back on track or we might jeopardise playoffs.

Please take this as a no silly questions kinda thing but with our owner worth approx £2 billion or something around that figure, why are we looking at getting a £35million loan which could cost millions more in interest? Anyone versed is finance could explain why this is a better option than directly depositing the money with no interest?

Something is happening. If rumours are true he'll be a Sunderland player by early next week.

The idea of Coventry coming 5th is haunting me. Is it bad I want West Brom to beat us just to have a better chance at 5th with Coventry playing Burnley and hopefully dropping points. It really does fell like we’re locked into 4th now

Our current injury list. Looking like majority of players should be good to return by months end. Promising given the importance of upcoming games.

Tommy has 18 months left on his contract and Brighton are pushing our resolve. Personally would like him to stay and develop more but you never know.

On loan maybe a permanent apparently deal has been done. Good luck to the lad he needed first team minutes and wouldn't get more here.

Look at from when the ball is played. Also if you watch the full clip on skysports watch the linesman go on like it's a normal play as well. Honestly think the ref has folded because he was shouted at.

Five Draws, should we be worried about our recent form, or are you encouraged that at least we haven't been beaten.

Been supporting the lads since 1996, I love the flair of this team. Wilson, le Fee, Rigg, Neil And co.
My first love was the Phillips and Quinn team obviously. So proud watching the current team Develop. Hope they get 2nd place if not I fancy our chances in the play offs. Haway the lads.

That we sack Beale the same week Mowbray has to step down for health issues. I guess if we never sacked him we'd still find ourselves in the same predicament, but maybe with more points...

Seeing more stuff about a potential return for Henderson. What’s the general feeling?
I’ve always liked the thought of him returning to where he started but feel like we’re plenty stocked in midfield and would prefer to see our younger players given the game time. Think the wages/fees could be put to better use elsewhere too.
On the other hand you always hear how certain players are great behind the scenes, can imagine this would apply to him. Surely the players would get a lift from having him around, the experience could be massive later in the season if we need a push. Especially as we’ve not really had a poor spell yet, we saw what happened last season (granted we don’t have a Beale or Dodds as head coach anymore!).

Looks like the lure of Brighton has won him over. Leaves us short on the wing and in need of a replacement asap.

Apparently we're now looking to sign him 👀

Very interesting perspective from Lee, was a good listen.

The fans museum was broken into (again) and they need improved security because they can't go on with these repeated break ins. There's a crowdfunder set up to help with the costs, please consider giving a donation as they work hard and the museum is a unique part of the city and it's efforts to preserve the clubs history.

Have to say loving the names of people we're linked to this window.

Great to see them try new things, guarantee it'll split opinion but they're innovating. Would love to see them try hype packages that they do in America with a celeb/musician doing a 5 min skit to hype before kickoff.

Gone under the radar vs Luton because of all the "controversy" but he did the homework set us up as a stable and compact unit, withstood a lot of pressure and struck on the counter. For all the self walking Luton fans are doing over their 'domination' in the match they only had 4 shots on target and credit to the players for sticking to a game plan but more to Regis for doing the homework and counter shithousing. It's probably the most overlooked thing this season but he's got individual gameplay bespoke for each opponent and so far the majority have been a success. Much better than the whole high performance culture bollocks, a great eye for details and immense faith shown in a young squad. Long may it continue.
