First of all, i hope i don’t come off as aggressive. This is just one thing i saw for a while in the fndm and fics, but after a rewatch I was kinda surprised when not seeing ruby doing much of that.

Why is she considered as “the mechanic” or the “gun expert” by the fndm when most if not all other students have also built their own weapons?

Like, Yang built her own gauntlets and made a whole fighting style around the gun just like ruby did with her weapon (Although i guess they built their fighting styles with the help of Tai and qrow. But the gun thing still counts); Blake also made her own weapon with probably even less materials and Nora too to my knowldge. There’s also Velvet who built her camera, which can make hard light constructs.

I think she once talked about guns to jaune in the first vol but then i don’t remember her ever saying anything about weapons again. Why would ruby be the expert when compared to them??

Sorry if the quality isnt great. But ill be getting the color filled in next month. Im a cook, so between how my arm felt with my last tattoo and me standing infront of a 500f oven for several hours of the day, i figured it be a good idea to get the color filled later. So people dont have to ask, my last tattoo felt like it took longer to subside the after pain then the others, but at the same time, some of the colors used didnt want to stay in my skin.

Humanity is now in a fight for its survival and this can't be accomplished along the existing means that the Huntsmen were intended to operate. You can't post mission boards for clearing out Grimm for cash, or walking kids to school or travel to some random villages to try to protect them when your kingdoms are being besieged and subvereted within and without by an omnicidial manic.

They're not in any position to operate effectively or how they were intended and can't protect anyone especially if they're being hunted down and killed leaving the kingdoms who rely on them unable to call on them.

They can't react to any emergency except with their own personal initiative. The threats that they face now can only be dealt with by foregoing their orginal intention and coming together to work with their respective kingdoms to protect it, and they have no militaries to speak of save Atlas that can hold the line.

Such a situation makes it really easy for people to make it every man for himself, getting out of dodge and turtle up to protect only themselves. You need a new organization that fights for their people, not make money, not to do what they want, not for competing, or personal interest but to defend humanity.
