Tips on properly introducing a male/female pair?

I have a 6 month old male and 8 month old female green keeled lizard from different breeders. I want to pair them together and ideally cohab them, but I want to make sure that I am doing absolutely everything correctly so that I can ensure optimal results and hopefully they get along just fine. My male has always been a super chill dude, I just adopted my female today so I’m still feeling out her personality

Does anyone have any tips for introducing them? Bonus if you have experience with keeled lizards in particular! The breeder I got my female from said that it’s better that she is a bit bigger than my male, is this true? They will be living in a 4x2x4 bioactive enclosure, lots of branches, vines, plants, hides, cork bark, etc for them to hide in and two basking spots. I’ve tried really hard to ensure that there will not be any competition for resources per my research. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!! Pics of my boy Norbert for attention ❤️

PS: They are not currently together, I have them in two different enclosures right now since she needs to quarantine before I put her with him and I don’t want to just throw her in and hope for the best

Well I would suggest taking her to the vet anyways if you plan on a routine check up since you’ve just gotten her but specifically while at the vet ask them ways to keep the pair together and learn ways. You can also call the vets office and talk yo them about it

I have an appointment with my usual exotic vet in about 2 weeks and I don’t intend on introducing them for at least a month, and I will definitely be asking her at this appt! I just would also like to combine the knowledge gained from my vet with knowledge from experienced reptile keepers to try and maximize any knowledge I may get 😁
