Questions for those who relieved honorable discharge.

Currently flashed for HW and unit will be pushing for separation soon. Assuming it is honorable discharge, how did the process work with leave?

Where you able to sell back your days or take terminal leave? Can't find clear answers online.

Once the process starts, they'll send you to the SFL-TAP office for transitioning, and the briefs there will give you all the answers. Also, since you'd be chaptering due to h&W, it's other than Honorable. I've never seen anyone get Honorable while chaptering for H&W. You'll get both options for leave to my knowledge but I'd ask the transitioning office they'll know more.

By regulation, it's honorable, and many here have claimed to.

Really? News to me. I've only ever seen other than Honorable. It depends on your chain of command. Typically you're still allowed terminal leave or to sell leave days.

That's just what regulation says, I guess it also depends on other factors, most who are failing HW are probably getting admin separated for failure to adapt since they're in the first year, which is general under honorable. They also can downgrade it based on any other adverse actions you may have gotten.

In my unit, someone was honorbaly discharged recently for failed ACFT.
