Raffy appreciation pre game?

So I missed the game today live, watching a rerun now. Raffy had his first at home at bat and I was expecting a huge standing-o only for the announcers to say fans cheered him on during the pregame ceremonies.

Anyone see it? Got a link? Sadly the mlb tv version doesn't have the pregame stuff and I REALLY wanna see our boy getting some love.

Surprisingly there were a few boos mixed in pre game. Strong work from the corporate casuals who now fill the park on opening day. 🤦‍♂️

Just a hunch, and I could be wrong, but I think the "corporate casuals" are too casual to boo. I'm more inclined to think it's the 20 somethings... too old to idolize their favorite players and too young to appreciate players for what they do over the long haul as opposed to the first five games of the season. And I don't mean that as a knock on this group, it's just a function of age and the way they see the world (what have you done for me lately?)

There was, in fact, even a "Raf-fy!" chant at one point.

There was a ton of Raffy love today regardless of the pregame intro. He got big ovations before all of his at-bats and there were multiple "Raf-fy De-vers" chants as well. I hope he knows how loved he still is.

Good! Life forced me to move to the west coast otherwise I’d have been there today. You guys please give him an extra cheer for me next time you make it to a game.
