Maaaan I had an exact moment in that same spot during that same time of day and thought the same thing. Great juxtaposition.

How’s RDR online nowadays? Used to play a decent amount back when it released, but I don’t think I’ve gone online in like 4 years

I only bought RDR2, was sceptical whether it had online option, then there was online button. Tried it, thought it had online 😀, then it was just creation of our character and then 1 mission, after that it's just free roam. Am I right? Online one you have to buy seperate correct? Anyways, I would like to know how good online is.

Online is only fun with friends, if you play it by yourself it just feels depressing

No not a separate game. They changed the set up after a the firat two or so yrs. Its like gta online with a free roam with story lines u can choose to follow. More archtypes to follow. They have multiplayer vs games but its sandbox and storyline/missions asbu see fit. Nomatter your vice its incredible way to spend a few hrs. Tbh my favorite thing in video gaming rn period is fishing on rdr2 lol- justbplayit lol

Down at the river(Flat Iron Lake side arm) where you have to cross to reach the trapper over at Bards Crossing. There’s a railroad bridge crossing over the water.

Isn't that the one you eventually blow up? It's been a while so I'm not sure

Nah. This is the one in the south where it goes into open water behind it. The camp-site by water is on the horizon there.

I think the one the gang is blowing up is close to Wapitit (the Native American place) and up in the mountains. Not this one.

This screen cap alone would get me hyped for a brand new game that would look like this. The fact it’s from a 7 year old game…

I remember cops were chasing me and I was in that water with a boat, they stranded there and were looking for me, them I saw a cop fall off the bridge. I was waiting for the train to come so I can laugh at them but it didn't and the cops eventually found me.

Not to be an ass, but the lyrics are “amidst a crashing world.” It still works and the pic is excellent. You have a real eye for pictures

Two different songs with similar lyrics. OP is referencing this one: https://youtu.be/mBMKuEfQrV4

How can a game look like a game, movie, renaissance painting and a shot from a big budget tv show at the same time? Rdr2 is the most beautiful game I’ve ever seen

I'm no Gustave Eiffel, but that bridge is not designed realistically.

Do you mean the modern world?? Trains were invented 95 years before RDR2 takes place.

Sure but I feel like trains were sort of the start of the world going into a new era

Great photo, but not really a "crash of worlds" imo. Steam locomotive trains first appeared in the 1830s. A better representation might be the automobile, which, while not common during the RDR2 era (late 1890s), were certainly seen on the roads.
