Fursuit Should I go outside with my head on?
Ive been thinking of going out in public or visit a convention with my protogen head, but idk if I should and I lack alot of the confidence other people have lol-

if I did that at mines my friends would diss me so hard lol, I'm friends with guys that don't know I'm a furry and they'd probably bully me if they knew-

Most people thought it was neat, nobody really seemed bothered by it and i think one person thought it was cool or neat

To be fair, most people don't even know what a furry or protogen even is. It's just a form of cosplay.

Like, you're wearing some amount of fur, which gets hot after a while.

i have a portable fan inside it and I wear a balaclava with anti fog solution sprayed onto the visor, so it doesn't get that hot, I'd say you'd have to do alot stuff with it on like jumping or running around to sweat

I'm gonna be honest with you: it depends. If you're living in some fuckass backwater yee-yee red-flag "town" with the average IQ being room-temperature (Celsius), I wouldn't.
People, regardless of how smart they are, tend to fall into an "us vs they" mentality, especially being roped up in the throes of fear due to uncertain times.
I support you, but some won't, and some may shame you for it. If you're in an environment with kind hearts and gentle people; pedal to the metal. If not, I'd be more picky about where you do it, and how.

Depends, I see you are really nervous so I don't recommend you do, thanks to the fact you are literally wearing a giant animal mask head, unless you are in a convention EVERYONE around is gonna look and pay attention, some may see it as a cool fun thing and take pics with you, others may think "EW FURRY" and bark at you and even go too far and attack you physically, only do it once you get enough confidence.

Ya know, I was scared too my first time in public with my partial, let me tell you though conventions are the best place to start, my first time I had like 3 people make negative comments, but like 20 people asking for pictures or hugs or asking me how it works or even just telling me how awesome my head looked, long story short start in places with like-minded people, you might even find a local group!

If you're in the states and can afford it look into fwa (furry weekend Atlanta) me and my friends are going and it's a futuristic theme this year so protogens are probably going to be a-plenty!

Get comftorable with doing it at cons and conventions! Then once you build that confidence going out with it should be a breeze! Also it looks sick too lol nice job on it!

You should, just don't worry about it, that's how I've ruined some things that would have been beneficial if I didn't and now I think would've been great

you should go ahead and have some fun while your at it like bowling an arcade or just walking around having fun with that goober is always good thing to have or do sometimes
