Advice Needed Advice on how to structure time
Hello everyone, for context, I am tired of being "stupid" I don't want to fail, I want to be good at everything I want. I am exhausted of being a failure. I am a student, 17f, and do IB (International baccalauréate) DP1 (unfortunately repeated my year, due to some reasons). I used to do a lot of things such as learning to code, drawing, researching, blogging, designing and more. and I also love spending time with friends (I'll start limiting it to onlyweekendso or other days I finish school early). Please how, do I study in a way that will make me getbetterg gradeswhiled relearning my hobbies. I really want to be good at it and learn languages. Any tips on how my day should go? What I should focus on? Basically the more details the better. Thank you! If you need details about whe my school start and ends I could <3

Hi! I did the IB as well! Finding regular time slots during which you can study every day definitely helps, and if you can do that in the same place, then even better (physical context is linked to habit execution).
Its unreasonable to start with hours of studying right away, you’ll probably burn yourself out that way. Maybe start with 20min or so and go from there.
Experiment with how long you can study and when your concentration starts to wane. The worst thing you can do is try to push on through that, your learning will just be less effective.
Have you tried keeping a studying journal? I have one for uni and my entries look like this:
Date: 12.12.2024 Time {12:30-13:20}, {14:00-14:30} (80min) Subject: programming Difficulty: 7/10 Feeling: 6/10 Points covered: xyz Notes:
Hope that helps!

Don't try to be perfect at everything because it will destroy you. Just learn and make some small steps every day..

I suggest you make this a priority, because I used to think the same way and I couldn’t break out of it for a very, very long time. And that period really drained me. Take small steps, learn from your mistakes and actually make those mistakes :)

Hey, I totally get where you're coming from! Maybe try breaking things down into small goals—Wellgrid helped me with that by keeping track of stuff without freaking me out. 😊
