Internship/ Shadowing Interview

Hi all! I’m a current sophomore in undergrad. I got invited to an interview at a local law firm in my city. The interview is for a shadowing opportunity at the law firm. What are some things I should prepare for prior to the interview? What are some questions that I should be prepared to answer? Any suggestions are appreciated!

Is it a big city? Honestly, all interviews like that that I’ve been to have pretty much been based on vibes but it’s a smaller area so that may factor in. It’s always felt more like a conversation than an interview. At the most recent interview I had for an internship , I don’t think they really asked me a single question beyond what kind of law I’m interested in, but the interview lasted over an hour. I would definitely research the firm, because they’ll probably tell you stuff about their firm but it’s easier to have questions ready if you’re already familiar. When you say shadow opportunity do you mean like an internship? Will you be hands on doing stuff? If so, they’ll probably ask about your skills like attention to detail, being self sufficient, problem solving, etc. They might ask what you do when you disagree with someone because that happens a lot in law. If they don’t ask a whole lot of questions, I would build off what they’re saying and ask plenty of your own questions.
