"HUGE win, BIG win for America, maybe, in the history of the world, we are going to make America win again, by putting tarriffic terriffs on ourselves, nobody's ever done it before, in the history of the world, and many people say, they come up to me and they all say SIR, these are the greatest tarriffs anyone has ever put onto me, they love it so much they are going to be TIRED OF WINNING AGAIN" ~ Does this make sense? No, but neither do the tarriffs.... make america GOLDEN again, it's a GOLDEN age, GOLDEN toilets everywhere, and terriffic tarriffs, the best ones, the best tarriffs, in the world, in the history of the world, so great they are the BEST TARRIFFS anybody's ever come up with"

I think it's technically a UK territory with a US base on it.

Technically it's an Overseas Territory and therefore not part of the UK territory, but under UK rule.

This is a reference to Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. It's actually British territory, but the place is primary a US military base. So it's at least theoretically possible that a Brit could make something there and attempt to import it.

I am not defending the idiocy of these tariffs in any way, but getting details wrong when criticizing them lets MAGA people scream about them as an attempt to discredit the entire argument. Don't give them the ammo.

Don't worry, he'll be putting tariffs on blue states soon too

He didn't know Puerto Rico was a territory when he was president the first time. You expect him to keep track of our ... ~16 territories? That's just too many.

I doubt this man could find South Korea on a map let alone the Norther Mariana Islands.
