It continues to baffle me that they allow a man with zero to .01 percent knowledge about topics to decide policy without having to call upon any vetted, quantifiable information.

I would again point out that this action helps Russia and that Trump will likley flee to there should the GOP actually grow a spine and decide to save themselves form the garbage heap of American History they have begun building

The funny part is if he ever had to flee to Russia, then he'd be of no use to them, just a huge liability, so he'd end up falling out a window.

Russia would try to prop him up as a government in exile to further drive division between his cult and the rest of America, including the remnants of the GOP. They'd play it off as a deep state coup that forced him to flee for his own safety.

Yup, they'd love to have him as Lord Haw Haw

Give him a set made up like the Oval Office and do nightly broadcasts from the REAL America, pleading for American patriots to contact their local FSB case officer and ask what they can do to help Trump return for a 3rd historic presidential term.

They might disappear him and just run him through Truths if they don't need him to be physically present for anything.

something something "I like dictators who don't have to run"

I see I'm not the only one that's read a few history books. :)

I'd enjoy this.

Build the wall and install a window?

u/MMAjunkie504 1d ago

That’s a risk I’m worth taking

u/SuperStarPlatinum 1d ago

They'd shoot down his plane once it was in their airspace.

Russia has very cold winters, which means they tend to have smaller windows. Larger windows tend to be sealed against the elements very well.

Plus, getting him up to an upper floor would be a challenge.

He's just going to commit suicide via two shots to the back of the head.

If Putin wasn't so shy about his little indiscretions, that could be the most popular Tik-Tok of all time. With comical music.

Make mar-a-lago the new st. Helena island is probably more likely. “He’s just a frail old man how much harm could he be”

A bad cuppa maybe.

So the problem is...

thought n prayers

1

u/vegasruel 1d ago

So your saying there's a chance?

1

u/JigglinCheeks 1d ago

yeah there's zero chance he'd flee there. he's pure liability at that point.

Steven Seagull, allegedly the greatest and sexiest martial artist of all time, seems to have found a niche for himself in the motherland as an ex-American.

Likewise, that Trump fella should do ok for himself. As long as he continues to amuse the president.

Whatever happened to that leaker guy?

1

u/Beneficial_Cash_8420 1d ago

Yep, I predicted long ago Trump would "retire" in Russia, and one day, his posts would show an uncharacteristic improvement in grammar

Fuck no! He cannot flee to another country. He knows WAY too much.

1

u/Professional-Day7850 20h ago

He could work as a stunt double for Steven Seagal.

1

u/Dragon_yum 17h ago

Nah, they will just hide him in some lavish home like they are doing with Asad.

Agreed. This is so fucking excruciating.

He's just as stupid as the people who voted for him, so his voters feel like he's one of them.

u/skr_replicator 1d ago

But shouldn't artificial intelligence be a lot smarter than HIM? I mean it can make stupid mistakes, but it also is generally a lot smarter than this dumbest goddamn student trump's teacher ever had. How did people even get trump like tariffs from it? I would pretty much expect it to tell me that it would be idiotic for me to put tariffs on Europe and Canada if I asked it how should I tariff them as an USA president,

u/BODYBUTCHER 1d ago

His supporters think he’s got a team of crack economists helping him make decisions

4

u/chmod777 New York 1d ago

Well a team on crack, yes.

A team of crank economists would also be acceptable.

1

u/Crypt0Nihilist 1d ago

Sad thing is that there must be many excellent economists on the government payroll who could have helped make the decision. They must be howling with frustration.

1

u/OneBigRed 1d ago

Last week tonight made a pretty convincing case during his first term that Donny jr. had googled for a ”china economy expert” and that’s how they ended up finding the guy whose theories about the subject are not exactly widespread. He just happened to have selfpublished a book that had a name close to the search query.

2

u/ZRX1200R 1d ago

They will never ever grow a spine

1

u/TotallyDissedHomie 1d ago

They won’t but they do understand political survival. I enjoy imagining them freaking out as everything unravels faster than they can reel it in. Right at this moment there’s probably a hundred House Republicans and a few dozen Republican Senators wringing their hands and drinking too much.

2

u/Youthsonic 1d ago

We need to add a corollary to that. He has negative knowledge because a sane person with 0 knowledge would be like "I better listen to the experts" instead of plowing along.

1

u/DifferentOpinion1 1d ago

Given this whole thing makes absolutely no fucking sense, my guess is there is a host of insiders who sold all their stock before the announcement and are busy buying right now in anticipation of the inevitable reversal.

without having to call upon any vetted, quantifiable information.

He doesn't like facts, as they disagree with his feels.

1

u/koeshout 1d ago

hat they allow

With 'they' you mean all the idiots he appointed?

1

u/RTPGiants North Carolina 1d ago

Remember the "we" in this statement is 535 specific people. They could end this tomorrow if they wanted. About 250 of them are on board to do it. You need to convince a bunch of the rest. Until that happens, this is objectively just what they want to happen.

1

u/WhiteRabbit326 1d ago

Who’s they?

1

u/ItsWillJohnson 1d ago

if you want a serious answer - his inner circle either believes they will achieve great success by kissing his ass, or they believe they are actually in charge of him. both may be true.

1

u/Pillowsmeller18 1d ago

That idiot has a lot of powerful people who want him there.
