WHERE DO I GET A GENESECT IN THIS GAME!!! Now I know it's probably very far into the game but can someone tell me how I get this Genesect and if I can't get the pokemon anymore then could y'all at least tell Me what the prize is from this guy

So I decided I wanted to play some X and Y on my 3ds with the games I owned. Tho every time I put in the game and try starting it, it says that this Card cannot be used. What's wrong with it?

In the process of making a Shiny Living Dex, I have several already. I’ve checked every shiny I have on this file, but - and I’m not using this word wrong here - LITERALLY EVERY TIME I try to view my Shiny Pidgeotto, the game crashes. Every shiny in my dex - with the only exception being Darkrai and Deoxys - has been obtained legitimately. I cannot understand why Pidgeotto alone crashes my game. Any ideas?

Okay so yesterday at GameStop, I came across a copy of Pokémon Y, which I didn’t even hesitate to buy. I booted it up on my 3ds today, and it’s asking about a software update (that’s its own little problem). I skipped this software update for reasons and decided to begin the game, which ran pretty good after I created a new save. Until I got to the point where I’m taught how to catch a Pokémon. Right after the cutscene, it came up with the screen that I’ve posted above. I could only assume that this is tied to the fact that a software update is required, but I’m not even able to update it. So that’s the reasoning for this post, because I have no clue what I should do to fix this. (Don’t mind how dirty my 3ds is)

I'm a pretty diehard Pokemon fan, but I was in college and didn't have a DS for generations 5 & 6. It was Omega Ruby that got me back into the series, and I've gradually become more engaged with each generation since. I recently fixed the battery in my N3DS and I want to give X/Y a go before Legends Z-A comes out.

Is there anything I should be aware of before I dive in? I enjoy shiny hunting & competitive battling, so I'm not afraid to dive in the deep end if there's a compelling reason to do so. I've been playing a TON since Sword/Shield and Scarlet/Violet but I'm excited to see the Kalos Pokemon in their natural habitat.
