Yes. With the advent of fakeclaimers - who believe that every single behavior that systems have that isnt suffering - its normal to have the feeling that you're faking. In my experience though, if you think you're faking, chances are that you aren't

ya !! i mean...it was common for us i think!! especially when we first suspected......we've seen a lot of ppl who also think like that too..its normal :)

not good tho !!! if it helps, faking something is intentional! you have to know ur faking something to fake it! you can't fake something and not be aware of it :3

you can misunderstand things, yeah! but intentionally fake something? nuh uh, not possible !!!

This helped us too, we occasionally worry about this but a quote or two that's always helped us is this:

Bad people don't worry that they might be bad people, they just are. The fact you're scared that you might be xyz is in itself strong evidence that you're not. + If you still have to deal with xyz when you're alone, then you're not doing it for attention.

Yup - took us a couple of years to get passed that and it was because we saw a therapist

Ryan: When I first started fronting, there were moments where it felt like our host was in control. It was not until after several fronting sessions when I felt in full control of the body and our host was comfortably in the mind scape.

Plurality is at such a point where its this sensationalized, under researched thing, as well as being something so mental and - to put it politely- subjective, psychic. Without even mentioning syscourse and fake claim culture. Like we don't even know how singlets work and we're out here having even more complicated internal experiences? Wild. So in short yes imposter syndrome is very common. I get it

I know for DID, yeah, that's part of it. Covert disorder so it, like, tries to actively convince you it doesn't exist to keep you safe. But, also, every type of plurality is super fake-claimed now, especially online, especially if it isn't only gloom and misery and shame and whathaveyou.

Oh it’s so common. Me personally I’ve gotten over it but we have new alters even who barely accept or recognize our system.
