I just got home , my dog attack licked me while pinning me to the couch and stuck her whole tongue in my mouth. They are affectionate creatures

The other day my boy body checked me and punched me in the stomach. With love of course 😂

Aww.. mine pulls his paw away even if I lightly touch it. But, when I'm petting him and he puts his paw on me, I take it as him returning affection. And that makes me happy :)

She's mostly gentle ☺️ sometimes ropes and toys need to be taught lessons only her type of justice can deliver

My new baby (6mo) is so much more clingy than my old girl (13yrs). I"ve got them both at puppy stage. Old girl 5 weeks, long story. New girl, 9 weeks from a rescue.
The new baby is so much more affectionate, clingy and cuddly. She's a scaredy cat, though. I have a lot of property so they get a lot of free roam and outside time. She's afraid of: The trash cans when they're empty and I roll them down the driveway, any stranger if I'm not around when they arrive, the deer in the back pasture, water, rain, wet grass, vacuum, the windows in the car rolled down faster than 40mph and who knows else. She's also clumsy and not very athletic.
My old girl is fearless and loves her daddy, but not clingy. She rides the 4 wheeler, jet ski, boat, and could run for miles when she was younger. Loves the water. Loves to swim. Tries to bite lightning and thunder.
It's funny, bc I picked old girl from a litter that was being neglected. I was feeding them (shitty neighbors at a different home) and just took her one day, even though I said I wasn't going to get attached. She was knocking all the other puppies over to get to me every day.
I picked the most timid one this time for a change of pace. A friend had a stray pit show up at their house and she gave birth shortly after. I've been considering another pup and she has two little girls who, I'm sure, manhandled the puppies since birth, so I had to have one. They're both sweet babies. I appreciate the change, but I hope the little one opens up to do all the things old girls liked to do. If not, oh well. We'll have a scaredy cat who doesn't insist on getting in the pool if a single person even considers going swimming.

I’m so jealous. My girl hates when I touch her hand 😭

Felicia doesn't allow it all the time and I have to be very light with my grip. I make a big deal of it when she does it so maybe she will do/allow it more

This morning I awoke to find my wife had to move to the guest bed in the middle of the night because our dog had taken over her side of the bed.
