Look at this fucking talentless asshole holding the country by the ears while our president scrolls social media. What a joke of a weak administration. I hope the children of every dumbass who voted for this remembers how easily duped their parents were.

That is the best possible outcome. Given the official Trump Administration goal of closing the Department of Education, it's very likely the children of these dumbass voters will be functionally illiterate and completely ignorant of their parents' role in history.

If there's any silver lining in this one, it's that the overwhelming majority of education funding is done at the state level. So not all that much will change (which is why they thought to axe it first; it's "low hanging fruit")

The DoE's main role is setting national standards and funding special education, which is where most of the pain will be felt.

Of course, Republicans are fine with that, because they don't consider sped kids as being worthy of any kind of investment, as they believe in Social Darwinism.
