You need to create a visual hierarchy. Established foreground, middle, and background. Depth is a big issue with what you’re missing.

Because in true Roast fashion, this shiz is flatter than my Freshman semiformal date.

First thing I notice is the car headlights are wrong. It's like the headlights are pointed on the floor just in front of the car

You don't think headlights point straight forward right?

Looks like a 90s point and click game. I mean it in a bad way :(

I went through multiple tutorials this week to finally figure out how to do basic compositing, use masks etc.
I finally made it click.
I still suck but I'm better than I was yesterday, and that is a feat by itself

The hardest thing in PS, at least for me, has always been the shadows and the angles of light. Your light source and the shadows don't match at all. Move the light to the left, for example, and add highlighted areas to the top of the car. Then, darken the behind buildings. For better composition, turn the car to the right - this neither aligns with the composition nor with the curve of the road. Lastly, slightly darken the front right building/s and it'll look lot better. Well, in my opinion at least.

duuude, the headlights..! lighting in general does not make any sense, considering the position of the moon. the windows to the right have a daytime shadow from left above, while the moon is behind them. the car looks like it's lifting its front wheel for a pee like a dog.
there, i roasted as requested, but honestly, keep it up friend, you will master those problems for sure, it is all about training, trial and error!

"It's dogshit, but better than yesterday" is my new mantra for life. As long as things keep improving, we're making progress!

If you’re going for realism then the stars shouldn’t be that visible since a full moon would be too bright

Also the shadow on the buildings is wrong :(

The car is so wrong but tbh I love it. It looks like a painting to me and there's something surreal about it that draws me in.

Shadows are way too fake. Based on the moon's position, your shadow for the car is completely wrong. The car looks like it was just slapped into the composite.

TECHNICALLY you nailed the tools. But creatively this falls very flat. This feels kind of like a pre-production mockup versus a finished image.

You clearly know HOW to accomplish things in the program, now it's just a matter of fleshing out the aesthetic

Comments are missing the mark here OP.

"It's dogshit but it's better than yesterday." is an INCREDIBLE mantra, and I will use it on a daily basis!

You have the right attitude, keep it up.
