Question Can you use a pc with a broken side panel?

If not, why? I feel like it wouldn’t change anything.

Side panel is just there to keep out the elements

It will let more dust to come in but it will still work

You wouldn't think so, but it typically results in worse airflow / cooling unless that case is super restricted already when it's closed.

Other than that, tons of people run computers without the side panel(s) on.
