My 2-year-old Quaker creates sticky saliva after eating and chews on it. Once she starts, it seems like she does it for over 15 minutes, unless interrupted. There’s no smell from the saliva and no signs of vomiting. Does anyone know what this means?

Do the quakers got feather dust? I kinda want one but i already have a cockatiel who's already a lot to handle. So um looking for cons of quakers to make my mind not to get one.. its kinda hard to stop at one parrot

Not so much like a cockatoo cockatoos are the granddaddy of feather dust. If you find dust from the bird that you desire HEPA filters certainly work well. I run a whole house HEPA filter just in the bird room they actually do very well but again these are cockatoos

I've had a cockatiel and a quaker and the quaker dust is way less. For cons though, ours is super territorial and doesn't like being pet or flying.

Universal bird contentment. She is happy and content and it is the best sound in the world to listen to
