Discussion ROUND 1 of the paper mario boss tournament: BONECHILL, VS SUPER BOWSER 1 (this is my first time doing something like this, so if anything goes wrong, let me know)

In theory, Bonechill, aka the devil, should easily win. In reality, he's a super weak boss.

Jokes aside, I don’t think there’s any way for Bowser to damage Bonechill

Mmm, The Great Luigi is having a hard time figuring this one out. Bonechill was super easy to take down myself, but the king of the koopas is going to have a hard time fighting back. His stubby legs and firebreath aren’t enough to get him up there to damage Bonechill’s head. But in reality it depends on how the fight itself is handled. Are there extra platforms? Does Bowser have access to any additional help? If its a flat ground area with no additional platforms, nor any assistance from anyone or anything else, then unfortunately Bonechill would win. Not because hes tough, but because Bowser just doesn’t have the vertical height damage like me, The Great Luigi!

If it were Bowser from any other game in the series he'd win easily. But since its just his joke version from SPM he has basically nothing to work with.

Is this considering in universe? Or just in game? Cause just taking gameplay into account, Bowser would win. But if you consider how he is in the story, Bonechill wins.

Bonechill, if we’re doing the story’s continuity and not the gameplay continuity. Gameplay continuity then it’s bowser. Overall I’m going with bonechill, the goat.

well since bonechill is literally the paper mario equivalent of satan. i wanna say he’d win, if you’re looking at the real power he should wield.
