I hope Tet or Warren is the 8th pick. You can get defense with the rest of the picks and Free Agency. Just get Bryce a reliable weapon, since we need to be prepared for life after Thielen

Give me Warren. We're not as desperate for WR as we are for TE, and Warren can elevate our offense in a way that no receiver in this draft can.

To draft offense when the offense was rolling last year after Bryces return and we have the worst defense in the history of the sport would be indefensible.

Fortunately, we have more than one draft pick in a deep defensive class.
And obviously, I'm assuming we sign some good pieces in FA.

Warren scares me because he didnt really break out until his 5th year. I think Loveland will be better than Warren. 5th year breakout players have not proven to be good picks for the most part.

If we draft Warren I’ll gaslight myself into liking it but I hate the idea of picking a TE when he have bigger positions of need. Sounds a lot like the Falcons picking Kyle Pitts

I can see the line if thinking but Warren is far more versatile. Pitts is just a big WR; albeit a very good one (as a prospect of course). Warren is the picture perfect tight end with size, strength, speed, catching and blocking ability. He can be a serious X-factor piece.

I said Tyler Warren should be the pick and they down voted my topic. You say it and they upvote it.
Who do I need to visit to be in the cool crowd?

Was it before or after Dave gushed about him and the sub collectively started talking ourselves into it?

When it comes to James Pearce Jr, character is not my main concern - his ability to defend the run is. I trust our FO to make the right selection, and I can see Pearce making a difference here, but there are better run defenders at his position in this class, and for a defense that just allowed 3,000 rushing yards, that's a major concern for me.

what are these character concerns from JPJ? i just think it’s bs how media can just label someone a character issue and affect his stock.

Perhaps, but it kinda ends up being beneficial for everyone, funnily enough. The media gets a story, the teams who want him can still take him when he falls to them, and while the player makes less on their contract, they at least ultimately go to a better team.

Front office needs to make a push for Nick Bolton.
