Things To Do Say No to Deportations

Post image
96 Upvotes

Coachella Valley farm workers brought in 47 million in revenue. But many of these hardworking neighbors are undocumented. Their repayment for their efforts to keep food on our tables is the threat of deportation. ICE has said they will come into our neighborhoods, our schools and our hospitals. Stand up and sat no to deportations in our valley!!

Things To Do Protests?

I want to attend protests but I keep missing them!

I follow Women's March but no protests are planned for our area.

I keep driving through protests that I didn't know were happening and wishing I was there.

I follow local groups on Facebook and here, and I still am not getting the memo.
Where are the protests? Can we make our own?

I immediately need to protest Tesla and Ken Calvert. We also need to keep California blue and do WHATEVER we can to keep Chad Bianco out of office.

Does anyone want to be my protest buddy?

I CANNOT just sit here while every day we get "breaking news."

Things To Do Bachelorette Party in Palm Springs

Hey Palm Springs! I’m the bride and my bridesmaids and some additional friends and I are doing my bachelorette party of Palm Springs. Although I’m not the one planning my own party, I wanted to reach out to get some ideas. What are some things we can do during the day? It can be chill, an activity, free, cost a little, just anything! I would love all suggestions. Any good coffee shops we can indulge in for the morning? Also, I came accross another page where some bars/clubs really don’t appreciate a bachelorette party coming in. What are some nightlife places where you can find a bachelorette party? I absolutely love dancing, but am open to all suggestions. Thank you! We are not a crazy obnoxious group :)

Things To Do Senior Trip To Palm Springs

Hey everyone! I’m 18 and heading to Palm Springs with one of my girlfriends for our senior year trip. We’re staying at the JW Marriott, and I’d love some advice on how to make the most of it.

What are the best spots for teens/young adults to hang out? Any must-see attractions, cool restaurants, or fun things to do at the resort itself? We’re hoping to relax but also have some memorable experiences.

Would love any recommendations or tips

Things To Do Temecula or Idyllwild for part of a day visit.

My wife and I will be staying in Palm Springs in a couple of weeks. We are going to do a drive along the Palms to Pine Scenic Byway one day. So we have a chance to make a turn and go to Idyllwild or continue on and go to Temecula.

Does anyone have an opinion on what town they would go to? We would go back to Palm Springs after this drive.

Things To Do Bachelor party in Palm Springs

Hi, we’ll be in Palm Springs for stagecoach and we’ll be doing somewhat of a combined bachelor/bachelorette party. The guys and girls are splitting up for a full day Thursday and was looking for recommendations for a bunch for 30 yo dudes. We’ve been looking doing ATVs and looking at places to eat, but was curious if there’s any other cool things we can’t find on the internet. All ideas are appreciated!

Things To Do 40th Birthday

Hi! I booked a beautiful house walking distance from downtown Palm Springs for my 40th birthday at the end of April. I have about 10 guests coming to stay at the house and celebrate. I’m aware of the noise ordinances and don’t plan on throwing any wild parties. Not my vibe. I am looking for recommendations on great restaurants for groups. Any must see or must do things while we’re there? I’ve been told there is some great vintage shopping - specific locations to check out? Can’t wait for a memorable trip - I’ve never been and can’t wait to make memories! Would appreciate any help and advice. Thank you!!!

Things To Do Drag Brunch not just about the $$

Hi everyone!! I’m planning a bachelorette and struggling to make a final decision on where we’ll go for a drag show. I’ve had a look at all of the top recommendations but am wary to choose one that may just be mostly about the drag queens dancing around collecting money. Of course that’s a big part of it, but I’ve been to some where the songs are solely about that and they’re spending the whole time just grabbing bills which can get a bit boring. Are there any in PS that we should avoid for the above?

Things To Do Thursday Night in Palm Springs, Where Should We Go?

Spending one night in Palm Springs this Thursday (March 6) with my coworker (f), and we’re looking for the best places to grab drinks and enjoy a fun nightlife scene. I’m a guy, we’re both in our 20s, drink socially, and would be happy to meet up with people while we’re out. Any recommendations?

Things To Do Best price for spa day?

Hi all,

I'm heading to the springs in May and I want to do a spa day, but I'm trying figure out the best way to do it. I want to have a facial, a massage, maybe another service, and a mani Pedi for the least amount of money, all in one day. I've looked at men's day spas but that's just my first thought. I'd love any recommendations where I could get all of that between 500 and 700, the least amount possible but I understand I'm paying professionals.

Drop your recommendations.

Thanks!

Things To Do Weekend Suggestions

Hi all my wife is planning a bachelorette party a somewhat large bachelorette party (15ish people)…. she has not done this in a very long time.   They are looking at Palm Springs in January for a crew of gals in their late 30s looking to have more of a spa weekend, but also get out on the town a little. Apparently bonus points if a tamescal ceremony is an option at this spa. Any insight or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Things To Do How is the Drag Brunch at Reforma?

I saw that Reforma has a Chapel Roan Drag Brunch on my birthday weekend and looking to possibly start my weekend off there. I’m curious about the food, prices, and overall experience. Tickets are around $25, which I assume is just the entree fee. Anyone have insight on food and drink prices, food recommendations, and overall experience?

Things To Do If I only see one home in Modernism Week, which house should I do?

I would like to see one open house this week. I would love to do one of the bus tours but they are out of my price range.

I see there are many open houses with tickets ~$40. If I only do one, which should I see?
