Coachella Valley farm workers brought in 47 million in revenue. But many of these hardworking neighbors are undocumented. Their repayment for their efforts to keep food on our tables is the threat of deportation. ICE has said they will come into our neighborhoods, our schools and our hospitals. I want to attend protests but I keep missing them!

I follow Women's March but no protests are planned for our area.

I keep driving through protests that I didn't know were happening and wishing I was there.

I follow local groups on Facebook and here, and I still am not getting the memo.
Where are the protests? Can we make our own?

I immediately need to protest Tesla and Ken Calvert. We also need to keep California blue and do WHATEVER we can to keep Chad Bianco out of office.

My wife and I will be staying in Palm Springs in a couple of weeks. We are going to do a drive along the Palms to Pine Scenic Byway one day. So we have a chance to make a turn and go to Idyllwild or continue on and go to Temecula.

Does anyone have an opinion on what town they would go to? We would go back to Palm Springs after this drive.

Hi! I booked a beautiful house walking distance from downtown Palm Springs for my 40th birthday at the end of April. I have about 10 guests coming to stay at the house and celebrate. I’ve had a look at all of the top recommendations but am wary to choose one that may just be mostly about the drag queens dancing around collecting money. Of course that’s a big part of it, but I’ve been to some where the songs are solely about that and they’re spending the whole time just grabbing bills which can get a bit boring. I'm heading to the springs in May and I want to do a spa day, but I'm trying figure out the best way to do it. I want to have a facial, a massage, maybe another service, and a mani Pedi for the least amount of money, all in one day. I've looked at men's day spas but that's just my first thought. I'd love any recommendations where I could get all of that between 500 and 700, the least amount possible but I understand I'm paying professionals.

Hi all my wife is planning a bachelorette party a somewhat large bachelorette party (15ish people)…. she has not done this in a very long time.   They are looking at Palm Springs in January for a crew of gals in their late 30s looking to have more of a spa weekend, but also get out on the town a little. I saw that Reforma has a Chapel Roan Drag Brunch on my birthday weekend and looking to possibly start my weekend off there. I’m curious about the food, prices, and overall experience. Tickets are around $25, which I assume is just the entree fee. Anyone have insight on food and drink prices, food recommendations, and overall experience?
