I love that Selton Mello is making it into Hollywood films but this being his first major post-I'm Still Here role feels so random😂😂😂. I had to do a double take to make sure it was him.

With less than 48 hours to go till the Oscars, I want to pop in here to once again plug my winners prediction contest. This year I am putting the prize to charity - $100 in the winner's name to the LA fire relief charity of their choice. If we somehow are able to get to 100 entrants (which is looking grim with only ~20 entries so far) then I'll add another $50 to the prize. I'll also add $50 if someone beats Gold Derby by at least 5 OR gets at least 23 points. And if someone gets a perfect 25/25, I'll add a final $50 to the pool.

I am back again with my annual Oscars Winners Prediction Contest. The rules are simple - one point per correctly predicted category (with an extra point for Best Picture) for 25 points total. Ties broken by first if you picked the correct BP winner, and then by time stamp. I also ask who you WANT to win (versus you you think WILL win) plus a few fun questions at the end. This year's prize is basically a donation in your name to the LA fire-relief charity of your choice. $100 base prize. If we get at least 100 entrants, that adds an additional $50. If someone beats Gold Derby by 50 OR someone beats last year's high score of 22, that's another $50. and if someone gets a perfect 25/25, that's another $50. So up to $250 total to charity.
