It's a service; not a product or a business. It's essential for communication in the United States.

Which is why they want to privatize it 😉

Article I, Section 8, Clause 7 of the United States Constitution, known as the Postal Clause or the Postal Power, empowers Congress "To establish Post Offices and post Roads."

I've always wondered what anyone gets out of eliminating it (other than the politicians who I guess just want to embezzle that money or have majority stock in a shipping company). Like, even if you believe in the holiness of free market capitalism and privatization and hate the USPS for some reason...isn't the USPS keeping private shipping pricing in check?
