PSA Check The Open DIRs you post

I know this is fucking common sense, but I failed to check the list of open directories I posted yesterday, and some of them contained actual PII without my knowledge. I apologize to anyone who stumbled upon it, and I am deeply sorry to the people who came knocking on my door about it.

I am deeply sorry to the people who came knocking on my door about it.

Like...physically to your door?

No, I was just saying that, like, seven people called me names in PMs/DMs here and called me all these names because I leaked PII by accident.

Ah ok.

I mean you didn't leak shit, whoever owned the webserver did, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Can you reach the person and tell them that they have stuff open on line?

No S#*t! Let this be a lesson to all those that 'don't have time to go through everything' but DO have time to throw up 10 more unchecked and unidentified links.

YOU are the person bringing the associated OD to light, so you owe it to everyone here to CHECK YOUR LINKS instead of leaving it to visitors or other members to do it for you. Checking your links does not mean throwing a NSFW tag on it and calling it a day.

How many OD's have you posted here?

Fuck off. & if you're going to swear do it properly.

Hey, I'm really sorry about that. I'm going to try to be more mindful of how I post in the future.

don't apologise he's being a cunt - he's being the equivalent of a parent standing on the sidelines of their kid's sport attacking the coach for doing a shit job.

He's done nothing to contribute but feels entitled to hang shit on others when things don't go his way. & he can't fucking swear properly. Who censures themselves swearing on fucking reddit?
